Something from Illusion? lol. But visual novels are usually interactive fiction where the flow goes with the story, which is different compared to GalGe or dating sim where the story is based on statistics. This means that while one flow of a Visual Novel means that you CANNOT reach another's flow ending, a GalGe that based on statistic let you reach a particular ending based even if you made a different choice at the start.
The presentation are also different, as Visual Novels are usually but not confined to novel like storytelling plus one person's POV, while GalGe is only a one person's POV. That's why it's rare for a Visual Novel to have voice inside it.

In other words your definition of H-game is :

"Lots of choices with a complex decision matrix told from various points of views"

compared to visual novel:

"A very simple decision matrix told from one point of view"

Well....i consider both to be the same and can have its features intertwined with each other. Based on your definition, then Baldr Force has got to be a Visual Novel....but that's obviously not it.

Although Baldr Force has a simple decision matrix (non statistical) where one decision affects the rest of the story, it also has your galge definition where it has voice-overs, told from various character's point of views. What more it has a arcade robot shoot-em-up built in into the system.

I think as long as its pr0n, its a h-game. tongue.gif Galge, visual novels, and even action games with pr0n are h-game. laugh.gif

Tell that to the japs, they come up with the definition. And I did say it's GalGe vs Visual Novel. Even if Visual novel have sex scene it's still visual novel. When a GalGe have H Scene, it's EroGe.
Further clarification
QUOTE
A visual novel (ビジュアルノベル -bijuaru noberu) is an interactive fiction game featuring mostly static graphics, usually with anime-style art. As the name might suggest, they resemble mixed-media novels or tableau vivant stage plays. Visual novels are commonly called dating sims in the West, a misnomer as visual novels are classified as a sub-genre of adventure games and not simulation games. This has led to confusion with the other genre known as dating sims, which often shares a similar visual format with visual novels, but has gameplay based on statistics.

In Japanese, a distinction is often made between visual novels proper (abbreviated NVL) and adventure games (abbreviated AVG or ADV): the main difference is in the presentation of the text, which is overlaid on the picture in a visual novel, and confined to a window at the bottom of the screen in an "adventure". This distinction is normally lost in English, where adventure game refers to a different genre.

No. Shirou humped Rin, and they lived happily ever after, except for the part where he turned into archer, went back in time, and humped Shirou, which in turn made into self insertation time paradox.

No point. It does hint that Rin fought and died a heroic death in the future, so is most Shirou's circle of people. Ilya will die 6 months after events in FHA due to her life span expiry.

Shirou with Rubia/Ruby (means they both will meet each other in Magus Academy in London) will explore a Dead Apostle ship in 2 - 5 years time after events in FHA.
