QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Mar 4 2024, 12:44 PM) just wondering on the camera capabilities, Fastech price is quite tempting. I think Rm3.1k ish is a really darn price for the "Flagship killer" according to MKBHD. Latest top specs, best battery life on flagship phones for 2024.how's the camera? as good and snappy as your pixel 7 pro? "Its better than you think". Racun you kaw kaw first. Dont need to buy Malaysia set. Its even pricier than it is in the US. This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Mar 4 2024, 03:42 PM |

QUOTE(cruzzmz @ Mar 4 2024, 03:50 PM) A good phone and may be as par as s24u just lack of the AI features in the global rom Not CN rom bro... its Color OS. maybe wait a bit more see if price can go a bit down somemore hahaha bte the AI only have on CN rom for now IMHO AI is not a deal breaker for me because I rarely need those features. Price wise, I think its pretty good for around Rm3.1k ish because if you compare local set which is Rm4599. I dont forsee it going down soon unless a newer model launches at the end of the year. |

Looks like I'm staying on with Oneplus after so many years of up and downs with the brand. This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Mar 9 2024, 08:29 PM Attached thumbnail(s) badboy77 liked this post

QUOTE(Gratitude2022 @ Mar 10 2024, 09:59 AM) TBH, once I have the phone in my hands, I find the weight of the phone to be not too bad. It's not too heavy but its not lightweight either. If you compare to the S24 Ultra, it is still lighter. Well a bigger phone with bigger display will certainly come with a higher weight. 200ish grams phones are the norm nowadays. If you prefer something smaller and lighter, you can opt for the 12R. QUOTE(Gratitude2022 @ Mar 10 2024, 11:32 AM) Anything above 192g, I am reluctant. My last P30 pro is this weight, tangan sakit. That's why I am interested in Xiaomi 14 but most people discourage me cause says after update sure a lot of bugs. I would not say Xiaomi Miui would have a lot of bugs, but I particularly dislike the bloatware and the adware that comes with Miui. It takes a little bit of work to uninstall all the bloatware but the adware is totally annoying to me.My Realme GT Neo 3 only 188g, just nice but lags and no 5G cause CN set. My moto G82 best 173g saja but this is a problem model. Changed new set under warranty still problem. Looks like there wont be much choice for you because all the flagship models are above 200grams. Even the Oneplus 12R is slightly more than 200grams. Your only choice would be the smaller sized mid range phones which are quite light. QUOTE(deejay220989 @ Mar 10 2024, 11:36 AM) Any recommendations for OP12 screen protector? Got mine for fastech about 2 weeks ago, now looking for screen protector I only found Imak's TG which is the only 'branded' ones. The rest are unbranded TGs. Nillkin has film type screen protectors on a set of double but Im not in SP. Since it came preapplied with an ori SP, I will use it until its unusable and then only replace it with TG.This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Mar 10 2024, 01:42 PM |

QUOTE(mfa682 @ Mar 10 2024, 05:08 PM) Haha.. thought I wanted to give up on Oneplus. But with the OP12 this round, Oneplus has really turned things around. Back as the Flagship killer, flagship hardware and tech and optimized firmware but priced on the middle bracket. That is what all Oneplus fans have been looking for.TBH I have contemplated on switching to Samsung.... but deep down I know I would not be able to accept One UI after so many donkey years on Oxygen OS. QUOTE(chaostan @ Mar 11 2024, 12:16 PM) To those who got the unit from Fastech which aldy flash to Glocal, can the android auto work seamlessly? It worked on my previous phone. Dont see why it wouldn't on the OP12. Let me try it out first. QUOTE(mfa682 @ Mar 11 2024, 05:15 PM) I feel u bruh. There's a thing or two about samsung thats hard for us to accept. In my case, locked bootloader is a huge turn off. Everything works out of the box with a Samsung and being so there is nothing to mod. You dont need to unlock the bootloader bro. This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Mar 11 2024, 06:22 PM |

QUOTE(cruzzmz @ Mar 12 2024, 02:21 PM) Haha... beats me. I didn't even flash Oxygen OS myself this round. The seller ordered direct from China and the China seller flashed to Oxygen OS, pack all the free gifts together in a box before shipping the whole box to me directly from China. Nowadays phone sellers also can drop ship from China. This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Mar 12 2024, 10:09 PM cruzzmz liked this post

QUOTE(lemonkaki @ Mar 15 2024, 11:32 PM) Good phone? Looking to throw my pixel 6a for the 12R. Anyone know which store has the best deal? I think the majority here who owns the phone are OP12 owners. The 12R would be a good phone as well if you would prefer a smaller phone and not splurge about Rm3k for the 12. The 12R or Ace 3 in China is actually a steal now at Rm1900 ish. Pretty good deal if you would ask me. Genshin Impact edition is also available now but at Rm2.8k.*previous owner of oneplus one and 5.. |

QUOTE(michael9413 @ Mar 17 2024, 05:26 PM) Guys I just bought 12 Friday night rushing haha... You mean you got your OP12 but there is no charger in the package? Cos my 8T screen problem cannot touch in the afternoon... I am going outstation Saturday so I need my phone.. Want to ask... This time package without charging brick... I got Gan Charger and my old 8T charger... Is ok... But this time they did not even give us a casing... Can't find one after going to few shop... Now order only online and wait for shipment... There is supposed to be a 100W SuperVocc charging brick in the box together with an original casing. You still can use to old charger from the 8T without any issues though. |

QUOTE(vknight @ Mar 18 2024, 04:28 PM) Most of the seller inform that for Global Version - they take CN version and flashed with Global Rom even they advertise in Shopee as Global version. If you are worried, then your only option would be to get the official my unit here. No seller selling pure factory global version? (Only cn version which is flashed)? IMO, there is only one version right now, be it global or chinese version. Refer to my post below. |

Based on information on the below websites, the global version of the Oneplus 12 should carry the model no CPH-2581. https://oneplussg.com/product/oneplus-12-5g/ - Official Oneplus SG Site. https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/compar...aseline=3288919 https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/oneplus-12-gl...-fast-charging/ https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/14/globa...-certification/ My own set, a Chinese set imported from China bears the same Model No CPH-2581. IMO, the global version of the Oneplus 12 and Chinese version is basically the same phone. Most probably Oneplus came up with only one variant that caters to both International and the Chinese markets compared to previous iterations of Oneplus phones which have region specific model codes with different network bands.
