Anyone use the 2Gbps Unifi in business environment with own router? TM offered me free upgrade to 2Gbps package, but I would like to use our router/firewall instead of their router.

We are currently using 800Mbps with 5 fixed IP where the router/firewall do the PPPoE.

I have a fiberhome sr120a provided by tm, now no longer in use, i take to uni dorm, connect ethernet cable from wall to router wan port cannot use how? i connect ethernet from wall to pc then no problem.

i saw in settings that it cannot add or reset wan connections, so i thought should flash to openwrt so have that setting. but even flash firmware setting also dont have, how?? (to my understanding, it is the same thing as the strong 1200 https://forum.openwrt.org/t/support-for-strong-1200/22768 )

I just went to TMPOINT (unifi store) for the 2nd time in Cyberjaya.

This time I saja2 saying I wanna terminate Unifi because I already got a better offer from Astro.

So, here's the best offer that they can give:

All will get free 6 months usage and 6 months Disney+ Hotstar.

Since that 500Mbps to 1Gbps only diff RM20 ja, I took the 1Gbps. Plus, the current i'm using is 800Mbps.

I just signed up 500Mbps Unifi package that comes with all-in-one Fiberhome AX3000 router that has internal ONU.

Since I want to run my own router with Opnsense, what are my options?
1. Get a third party ONU like Huawei?
2. Can set the Fiberhome router as ONU only and PPPoE from my Opnsense?

Hope LYN sifus can educate me how to setup.

What does this “final bill” mean? I ported out last month and paid my last Unifi bill already. Previously just used JomPay for bill payment every month when I got a SMS. Never signed up or logged into the portal or app before, and don’t intend to.



Tried calling 100, but it returned a “something went wrong, please try again, blah blah” when I entered the phone number attached to Unifi (I’m assuming it’s been terminated already) and I don’t get any option to press a number to speak to an actual human in the billing section. Aside from walking into a TMPoint, any way I can verify that I don’t owe TM any outstanding payments?
