Tp link archer BE series (be230, be550, be800, be805 etc)

Avoid Deco series

My opinion on tp link: don't rely on tp link support team for firmware support. So far for newer models (excluding outdated wifi5 models) only AX55 V1 and BE230 having firmware updated for dot/DoH support. Other models no guarantee will get.
For higher models in BE series no guarantee also

Tp link also famous for quickly release hardware revisions and regional hardware/firmware variants to make them firmware incompatible with previous revision or other regional variants

note: BE550 Pro is a different model from BE550. main difference is 1x 10gbps wan 4x 2.5g lan versus vanilla 5x 2.5g 1x wan/4x lan

BE550 Pro is currently only listed in Singapore tp link site

Be700 Pro/Be11000 Pro is yet another model yet to announced locally (not listed in malaysia tp link site yet)

Iherb touched the phamaniaga cartel.

Phamaniaga cartel protested to government because iherb price way more cheaper. So government says iherb haram to import into Malaysia because no license. Local pharmacy need license to sell imported supplement/drugs

Just similar to some mobile phones that never marketed official in Malaysia (Pixel 8 or older, some Xiaomi/oppo/Vivo models) etc. You gotta to import them also. Of course it's not as complicated as you think to import cause got resellers and forward shippers on shopee

What about drugs not available in Malaysia? Oh well maybe those must be dadah in government eyes. Just saying. Regulations exist for reasons.

Supplement not found in Malaysia? I am not into this thing but for those who import these you pandai pandai lah. Years ago already got cases warning letter and even kena rampas kat kastam. "At your own risk" they say. But maybe if got time will research into that

Predator or tuf? If you want to do instalment why not going for something like sengheng instead?

yeah, Predator carried by TM is seems like phn16-72-78nu i7/4050 version. IMO this sku is not worth looking at. there is also i7/4060 outside but this stock is very low or has already run out.


TUF 16 comes with significantly weaker processor (13650hx) but with same 4050. This sku is kinda overpriced if look outside.

i will get neither of them from TM.

Is unifi now blocking third party dns again... (deco set to 8.8.8.8, some devices cannot connect to some apps/sites unless using encrypted dns from device setting)

Unifi messing up DNS again? Some devices only able to watch YouTube only. Others cannot surf, not even discord
