Last month I was given free upgraded from 800Mbps to 1000mbps with no increase in monthly subscription. And also given free for 6 months. But need to sign new contract for 2 years.
The package is called SWU 4.0 Extra. SWU meaning "Stay With Unifi"

The equipment supplied was D'link dpn-fx3060v ONR Combo Model. This Dlink Combo act as modem as well as a router in a single box. So far so good for me. Good download and upload speed. As a gamer I connect my Xbox Series X console using lan cable to the 2.5 port of the Combo. Speed tested was 1050mbps down and 550mbps up for my Xbox Series X .
I was able to login into the Combo but find it difficult to change the DNS, to do port forwarding for my Xbox Series X & even to select a different channel for my wifi so as not to clash with neighbors using the same channel.

unifi plan = unifi 100mbps - super value YEP 2019 , with free speed upgrade to 300mbps on 19 oct 2023

11 may 2024 - 1st relocate, tested the speed became 100mbps only, reported to unifi but no feedback
14 jun 2024 - reported to MCMC
20 jun 2024 - resolved, unifi said issue with "system glitch"

11 sep 2024 - 2nd relocate, tested the speed became 100mbps only, reported to unifi but no feedback
30 sep 2024 - issue still not resolved. speed now only max at 200mbps.

Unifi "system glitch" seem still not fixed yet and my speed drop issue happened again when do relocation.
after relocation, mine also getting private IP, when my VPN at home didnt work, reported then they fixed this.

but last week, they change my package name to 300mbps Pro Upgrade. now my speed still cap at 200mbps, then getting private IP again.

reported to MCMC, last update they didnt believe me when i told im using wifi to test, told me got interference and whatnots. after i give them prove, they so far no feedback yet.

have anything got same issue as mine? speed drop after relocation and getting private IP ?

I remember it was 100mbps and below is all private IP.
I dont think 300mbps is running on cgnat.

if dont believe, then check their own system, from their system able to check my speed test done via wifi previously that i able to get 300mbps.
from the speed graph also can see, the consistent at 200mbps. if due to my wifi issue, the speed graph wont be like that. and if lan, normally will cap at 100mbps due to cable type, but im using cat6, all ports is 1gps.

but i retest via lan just to make her satisfied and also speed at 200mbps. now all keep quiet after i ask someone competent /technical attend my issue.

Probably CGNAT server congested.
Enable IPv6 can also help improve performance.

Still using IPv4.For some reason always getting captcha , mail always ask for security.Some website ipv4 faster if not congested.

but even own unifi website also cannot load.

laz on desktop search no captcha ?  IPv6 routing got issue with website and server.Last  time youtube buffer with ipv6.

So is it possible to get 300mbps to rm99 or 500mbps rm119 ? SWU ?

just done my 1gbps install, gotten the dlink, speedtest using s22u or ip15pro can get 1.4gbps, but then biggest problem i have is wifi connection, the router sits at ground floor, where i work upstairs, and the wifi connection is really bad, saw some suggestions here to use bridge or ap, so i've used my existing ax73 to be used as ap, wifi improved, but i have intention to upgrade my ax73 to something like be550/be805 or xe75 (1 pack) or be65 (1 pack), but i saw some seniors say if using these as AP, it will waste the hardware, but i just need wider & stronger wifi, and quite happy with the dlink since can achieve 1.4gbps, and bridge will just limits to 940mbps. please advise.

this free speed upgrade is no more than a marketing scam.

mcmc instructed isps to lower price, but instead, they maintain price and provide 'upgrade'

except.................... ur not gonna be getting 1gbps speeds to anywhere except to their tm speedtest page. not even other speedtest sites do as well as tm's.
in practical usage, downloads off pretty much all servers will remain the same speed as 500mbps or lower packages. from what im seeing, 30KB/sec to 10MB/sec is quite the norm. highest practical speed ive seen achieved is 50MB/sec, should be about 400mbit there.

Has any Unifi Home Fibre user managed to remove UnifiTV, from the Unifi Home Fibre service?
Based on Unifi Home Fibre terms and conditions, it seems that UnifiTV is compulsory and cannot be removed.

Also I want to change name on the account, do I still qualify to get SWU in this case? Current name my father... want to change to mine..

If wanna ask for SWU... if go TMPoint but is "authorised dealer" okay? or must go main Tmpoint?
