what da latest firmware for w850?

Sony Ericsson w850i black's ori stock

it seems the factory hav been produce for the white version in the short term~
i may ask for is there any stock for SE w850i black original left in lowyat or sungai wang dealers

it was hard to find the same kind on others place now, slightly out of stock~
but there was many left for whities types

please report the price and location for me thank you
and also the warranty suppliers is there MidLand

hello guys, im new here.

Just bought w820i last saturday. Now i have some problem here. for the 1st time , i charged my phone around 8-9 hours. then after that i checked at the battery status it still 0% , then i tried to charge again.. but the blinking charging stop after 10-15 minute. so i send it to warranty yesterday and they changed with new battery. I went back home and charged it again.. the same problem happened again. Its AP set.

this time should i ask for 1to1 ?

this is my new phone after using 3310 for many years, still noob.

Amcorp Mall ericserve just quote me the D-Pad price, she said must change the whole front which cost RM75 and labour charge is RM45

W850i is still one of the best W-series phones I've used, just let down by the annoying loose slider issue, and cracked D-pad

if D-pad crack have to change whole front cover arh? not lower front cover arh

The crack will grow larger over time. sad.

Don bother lo it wont defect the functionality also. Why don mention bout the slider? Mine get loose months by months

Hi all. I'm thinking of getting a W850i. Was wondering if some kind soul(s) here can help me out with some enquiries:

1. Does the "sliding" part of the phone get loose after some time?

2. What's the "D-pad"?

1. The sliding part can be tighten up if you're buying an original set.

2. D-pad is Directional keypad of the phone.

I have ask around KL & Subang Jaya but all of them only has AP set.

It shocks me that the D-pad (the huge key thingy) can crack so easily as mentioned by users.

So is it advisable to get an ori Midlands set? AP is around RM930 while Midlands is about RM1,180 to RM1,299.
