5G prepaid capped at up to 100mbps, lol

Just wondering if both edisi biru and edisi kuning available on both Celcom and Digi network or biru for Celcom and kuning for Digi? Otherwise it just makes no sense for majority of users to go with edisi biru unless someone willing to bear with 1Mbps FUP speed

Both available at Celcom and Digi

Hopefully this will be the case. The Celcom and Digi 4G network had not merged yet in my area and I do not want to lose my Celcom 4G coverage advantage but the edisi kuning plan just way better offer

Don't need to hope. I'm certain. 😁

Wow, but just wondering what's the purpose for Edisi Biru? Is 1Mbps unlimited FUP appealing to some?

Most likely slowly Celcom and Digi website and app will be gone. All digi and Celcom users will be under celcomdigi.

Instead of copy paste from current digi and celcom they created a new plan.

This is celcomdigi. Previous they introduced fiber then postpaid and now prepaid.

I'm not sure if the 1mbps got fup or not. Even if got, at the speed of 1mbps, very unlikely you'll run out of quota.

1mbps is not appealing in 2024. Especially when you go RHB also they ask you download a separate queue app. You go JPJ also they ask you download another queue app. You just never know when you need a good speed.

Imagine you wanna send video with WhatsApp.. lol good luck with 1mbps. Probably phone will heat up and battery also drain.

My current plan also is 6mbps.. for me still ok. But it can be slow when need to download urgently.

This will still likely taking sometime as even the current Postpaid offer still technically separated. You have the CelcomDigi Postpaid plan either running on Celcom network which also use the CelcomLife app but also Digi network which use the MyDigi app. Hopefully they could speed up the integration process.

Can we say the new prepaid is under Digi?
Subscriber will be managing the account under Digi app?
*
Edisi kuning is under Digi technically is Digi Prepaid. meanwhile biru is technically Xpax prepaid. So yeah, it is technically under 2 different network. So for Celcom or Digi customers please choose wisely as it might affect yr 4G coverage/internet experience

Xpax Postpaid and low tier Digi Postpaid had discontinued. CelcomDigi Postpaid SE become the successor. Tbh, the plan looks quite promising

What's the point of essential 5G cap limit..
RM40 AND 60 Got essential 5G speed. Then why RM80 also got essential 5G speed??
Why not limiting 5G speed as 5G-A going to be launch near future....
Are this representative are idiots or making people fool

Also why not unified one App instead 2 seperate apps like Digi and CelcomLife. Are they not enough fund to invest new app?
*
As the network is far from full integration. The app integration prolly takes even longer. Hopefully we could see 1 CelcomDigi app after they completely integrated their infrastructure

Just4Me is still a thing in CelcomDigi Edisi Biru. My plan is A02 as well. So A01 has nothing to do with the ''color''

Bought a Digi SIM to test out the recently upgraded sites, let's say to 4T6S or AAU. Most sites are having problem from running on 4CA, resulting into slower 4G+ speed after the upgrade.

The worst scenario is most of the upgraded sites started to broadcast 2G on 900MHz as well, due to Digi limited 900MHz spectrum, the precious LTE Band 8 was squeezed from 5MHz to 3MHz. Due to 3GPP standard, 3MHz bandwidth LTE is not allow for carrier aggregation resulting into awful single digit slow speed if your phone accidentally dropped to Band 8....

Besides that, compared to Celcom and Maxis, Digi has a way higher tendency on connecting Band 8 as the primary LTE carrier. Honestly, this is a terrible decision. Customers could not enjoy the best available network.

Last but not least, most of the uncombined upgraded sites stays on 2CA even on high band, it either do B1+B3, B3+B7 or B1+B7, but could not do B1+B3+B7. Terrible experience if u are an existing Digi customer experienced the network before upgrade and after upgrade

Anyone have list or areas already combined and modernised into one?

Android users on Digi, force yr phone on 4G not 5G, install CellMapper. If your phone shows MY CELCOM instead of Digi on the top. It means the network is integrated.
For Celcom users, force yr phone to 4G as well, install CellMapper or any cell tracking tools. If the TAC number shows 5 digits, very likely the network has been merged.

NetMonster for Android will give u a hint as well, Celcom's EARFCN are 1650, 3150, 375, and 3600. Digi's EARFCN 1850, 3350, 524, and 3524. If you are from telco A but see telco B's EARFCN as one of the carrier for 4G+ CA in NetMonster, means the network had been merged.

Alternative way for iPhone and non CelcomDigi customers are going through CellMapper map and depending on crowd source data.
Pick Celcom, if u see 5 digits eNodeB number instead of 6 digits in north and central Malaysia, means the network had been merged. South and east coast is harder to identify, same just pick Celcom in CellMapper map, and see if most recently mapped cells have a 5 digits Region code, if so that means merged already

Hi, any idea on why CelcomDigi Integrated network in the MRT Putrajaya Line tunnel section have poor RSRP and SINR? -7dbm for SINR and BLER reached 50%, speed is ranging from 1-2Mbps (SINR < 5dbm) to 300/400Mbps (if SINR > 20dbm). Been contacting Digi so many time since this issue happened but they keep give me robot reply.

(SINR -7dbm)

First condition might be due to handover failure, the phone is connecting to a further cell. A flight mode or restart the phone might solve the problem?

Since it is extremely unlikely for an MRT DAS to have such poor RSRP. Might just be handover failure

There's a worse problem with Digi 4G currently. Some of the sites had narrowed the L900(4G Band 8) from 5MHz to 3MHz and switch on GSM900 probably to prepare for CelcomDigi merger here in Central and North Malaysia. If a Digi user was so unfortunate that the phone decided to connect to 4G Band 8 due to the tendency of having stronger signal, the phone will unable to connect to 4G+ for carrier aggregation due to 3GPP requirement of minimum 5MHz bandwidth and the speed is an awful single digit Mbps which u can.do nothing about it

Ah? I believe they will use celcom L9 which is 10mhz for GL900 services.... Where 5mhz is LTE and 5mhz is G900...

Mind tell the location u at? I tried sri petaling is 5mhz LTE for celcomdigi site (TAC 9xxx)

eNb is 32373, previously there was no L900 on this site until the recent upgrade The Band 1 and Band 3 has 2 sectors per antenna now based on the cell ID observation. The antenna did look ''fatter'' than the old one. Celcom has no antenna at my place, the site that my place receiving Celcom signal is from 121261, colocated with Digi's 22452. The Celcom's 121261 has one of the antenna able to split Band 1 and 3 into 2 separated sectors. However, it seems not the case for Digi and also Maxis

I think it fair competition. CD already have 20M customer. If someone is not happy. Just switch telco or buy phone that can lock band.
Im in Kelantan now, the place in Tanah Merah & Digi EARFCN code is 525(B1),1850(B3),3350(B7),3524(B8)...my place B8 get downgrade to 3MHz...and, finally this place is cover with Digi B1 network...before, only Celcom,Maxis, U Mobile have B1...

Single band speedtest(Digi 4G network):
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Faster upload speed with B1&B3 network.
**test with Samsung Galaxy S10+ USA ver(Snapdragon 855).
4G+ cannot use as always bcoz USA ver... laugh.gif

525 is by Huawei cluster. It seems in Peninsular Malaysia, north and central use ZTE, south and east use Huawei. However, I had never travel to south or east since the network merger process going on. Not sure they tend to pick existing Celcom site and deprecated old Digi site as opposite of what they are doing here in Klang Valley (keep Digi but deprecated Celcom except if the Celcom site is way more strategic than the Digi one).

Btw, I would also like to ask a question why CelcomDigi decided to a 7-7, 3-3, and 1-1 CA instead of using intraband CA like 7C, 3C, and 1C? This could make a lot of more phones especially midrange to connect with more component carriers at the same time

Curious when I'm using Digi Postpaid 2021 plan in cellmapper it's showed connected to Digi tower but after changed to 2 lines for Postpaid and Prepaid Kuning now it's showing as it's connected to Celcom tower. Does new plans are forcedly connected to Celcom or just they new plan from Celcom...

Anyone do share

The merged network has the main broadcast as Celcom and second broadcast as Digi. If yr area not merged yet such as Puchong, you will get back to Digi as the main and only broadcast

Technically not telco that is in charge of 5G but DNB. The 5G experience that u experience with Digi in that particular area will also be the case for Maxis, U Mobile, Celcom, and etc.

The DNB 5G network is getting really congested recently... I rather put my phone on 4G when approaching city centres or concrete jungles

Install cellmapper if you using Digi the app will show your are connected Celcom network merged area
If non merged area it's should been show Digi

Applicable for Digi subscribers only, Celcom users will always see BERSAMA DI WILAYAH CELCOM but length of TAC number will be different

Celcom own network is 3 digits, CelcomDigi combined network is 5 digits
