QUOTE(jasontanky @ Nov 14 2024, 08:25 PM) Indoor coverage wise is really area dependent. I'll rank in terms of speed based on my experience currently IOI Mall Puchong 1. Maxis 2. CelcomDigi (Celcom used to be better than Maxis, but the recently integrated CelcomDigi both speed and signal wise a lot poorer) IOI Mall Putrajaya 1. Digi (performance is way better when peak hour) 2. Maxis 3. Celcom (easily getting congested) Pavilion Bukit Jalil 1. Celcom 2. Maxis 3. Digi (somehow not even have 4G+) Sunway Pyramid 1. CelcomDigi 2. Maxis SunwayGeo 1. CelcomDigi (Maxis no signal in the basement) Bloomsvale OKR 1. Maxis (CelcomDigi no signal in carpark and ground floor) Pearlpoint OKR 1. CelcomDigi (Maxis extremely weak signal in carpark, groundfloor very poor as well) Cannot say much about other shopping malls as I am not a frequent visitor Updated with Pearlpoint. The indoor coverage between malls are vastly different even if they are just almost within walking distance. So the best scenario is to have both SIM card Pearlpoint Celcom speedtest when everyone else except CelcomDigi wouldn't even get a bar Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(Epic_winner091 @ Nov 16 2024, 11:29 PM) Just noticed a new EARFCN. Doesn't look like it belongs to either Celcom or Digi? Taken in Cyberjaya. This is because CelcomDigi had returned the "300-400" to MCMC as the condition for merger (Return 1 of the 3 spectrum stated) Celcom had shutdown its B1 in my area, Digi remain 524 (450-600) in unmerged area, and CelcomDigi use 500 in merged area (400-600) This post has been edited by jasontanky: Nov 17 2024, 07:07 AM

QUOTE(Epic_winner091 @ Nov 17 2024, 10:26 AM) I notice its also 20 MHz instead of 15 prior. I wonder if that spectrum will get reassigned? Basically, CelcomDigi will need to return 1. 2x10MHz of B1 2. 2x5MHz of B3 3. 2x20MHz of B7 after the merger, and return one of it within 2 years after the merger begin CelcomDigi had decided to return the B1 first, so now we left wth 1 2x20MHz instead of 2 2x15MHz on B1 The B7 return will hurt CelcomDigi 4G experience the most,.they'll left with a 3250 2x20MHz if they continue the leasing agreement with Altel. Hopefully the government can consider leaving the B7 alone This post has been edited by jasontanky: Nov 17 2024, 11:00 AM

MMU Cyberjaya (The signal from FOE building) Went to Cyberjaya, it seems roughly 65% of the sites had merged, and kinda surprised Celcom sites were kept a lot, maybe because Digi coverage is a lot poorer back there?

QUOTE(tomato people @ Mar 6 2025, 10:46 AM) Squeeze ARPU, this can be marked as ARPU RM32, makes the financial report looks a lot better. Nevertheless, it is still cheaper than Hotlink RM35 100GB for now, without 4G and 5G split (30/28)*30=32.14285714 About RM32 per 30 days This post has been edited by jasontanky: Mar 6 2025, 11:02 AM

QUOTE(godzilla88 @ Mar 11 2025, 02:43 PM) Is this for Sarawak? I remember they have existing plan for Sarawak usage only Nope, not limited to location. U can go to any normal phone shops and ask to check their dealer system. This is more like the CelcomDigi XV Postpaid plan, they kinda wanna keep it low to avoid anger other ''less-aware'' users

QUOTE(JLA @ Apr 14 2025, 03:10 PM) like people said, jungle place celcom is king » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « digi own maps celcomdigi maps. meaning the coverage is from celcom Not only that, CelcomDigi has all the bands deployed, B8+7+7+3+3+1. If I have a better phone that can do like 4 or 5CA, the speed might even be faster than this, ie 400 or 500Mbps. Kinda surprising how good is their network, my second SIM is Maxis. No doubt both networks are fairly usable in my trip travelling from the Rawang Country's Home through the kampung road to Slim River to avoid traffic jam then go to Kerling. Celcom is still way better than Maxis in terms of availability, speed, and average signal strength. I have friend with U Mobile, usability is way worse than the 2. I would say Celcom > Maxis > U Mobile on a road trip To be frank, some sites are owned by Digi (ie. 32692 eNb) near Jalan Bukit Arang. So Celcom users also benefited from the merger. There are a few hiccups for Celcom users especially when I reached Seri Keledang. Maxis has better signal strength, the rest are almost entirely CelcomDigi rules it all This post has been edited by jasontanky: Apr 14 2025, 05:08 PM

Spotted one empty/new constructed tower @ Sungai Tengi. That place has absolutely close to no bar even for CelcomDigi. Not sure if this is a JENDELA or owned by any telco, but at least folks staying nearby would enjoy much better signal at least from one of the major telco

QUOTE(Jason @ Jun 2 2025, 02:45 AM) Anybody knows if the celcomdigi postpaid 5G SE is on Sialkom network or digi? I prefer sialkom.. won’t port over if it’s digi Maxis has been terrible, but still can’t beat YES, that’s the king of no line indoors. Unifi mobile is like Maxis but worse network lolz You can choose between either network, they'll ask you
