Hi just today I converted Postpaid to prepaid Edisi kuning. I got all the offer. What's that unlimited 5G in data usage? Also does 5G speed tier really sense? When did speed test always getting 400mbps above on 5G so Speed tier is applicable for heavy file download??

If speed tier not enforced I wonder why need to advertise it 🤔 maybe after certain period they will enforce.

I’m on the Postpaid SE60 and able to get 400mbps+ speeds.

Maybe mislead consumers to pay higher price for higher speed

Curious when I'm using Digi Postpaid 2021 plan in cellmapper it's showed connected to Digi tower but after changed to 2 lines for Postpaid and Prepaid Kuning now it's showing as it's connected to Celcom tower. Does new plans are forcedly connected to Celcom or just they new plan from Celcom...

Anyone do share

The merged network has the main broadcast as Celcom and second broadcast as Digi. If yr area not merged yet such as Puchong, you will get back to Digi as the main and only broadcast

Hi guys, need your opinion on things

Im currently on Hotlink prepaid now and thinking of migrating to CelcomDigi Edisi Kuning prepaid because Hotlink has no signal inside my kampung in Perak.  Most people there use Celcom or one of its MVNO like Redone/OneXOX.

I live and work near south Klang Valley where Hotlink has no issues at all.  I use the 20gb 5g+20gb 4G Hotlink prepaid package currently.  People using Digi where I live has no issues as well.

Is now a good time to migrate to Digi prepaid so I can get good signal at my kampung too?  Or better after a few months once their network is consolidated?

Bro try to buy Edisi Kuning sim pack at 7e or 99 and try yourself before port in. My grandma hometown also Ipoh. But to be honest Digi just sucks tho no network in housing area pain for me during balik kampung it's been5 months I went Celcom had good reception those places since merger they might Integrating the network so just try b4 port in

How’s celcomdigi fibre network quality? Is it any good? Currently using maxis one prime and thinking to refresh to newer maxis unlimited due to 5g+cheaper pricing. But saw celcomdigi also have similiar unlimited postpaid+fibre offering.

Is celcomdigi considered better than maxis network quality wise? Just asking because got report that i saw that mentioned celcom digi have almost twice the subscriber of maxis. So give me the impresion that maybe its better
*
Fibre both using TM infra so no issue on that it's actually depends on service

For postpaid I'm using both Maxis Prime Postpaid and CelcomDigi Postpaid 80 I would both are good in interms of quality and coverage so far no speed cap on 5G speed for CelcomDigi plan( maybe they enable after completing merger) quality wise Maxis better especially customer service but CelcomDigi had slight edge on coverage mainly indoors
So better try buying RM10 SIM card and check out. Everyone as different experience

I used CelcomDigi for 15 months as main line and Maxis as secondary.  Then I swapped my Maxis to main line after 15 mths because CelcomDigi prefers to connect to 4G network rather than 5G when compared to Maxis.  My guess is CelcomDigi has to pay DNB for every GB data, therefore,  they rather connect its subscribers to its 4G network.

Even when I was with CelcomDigi, their network not stable and always have connection issues.  After I swap to Maxis as my main line, all these issues gone.  Maxis is not perfect but they are much more stable and better than CelcomDigi. So, if your office/residence has good Maxis coverage, then I advice you to port to Maxis. You will see the difference. This is based on my personal experience with CelcomDigi for 15 months before I ported back to Maxis.

Raise case on MCMC there's no point pay 5G plan but stuck with 4G LOL. Mine while idle lock 5G also with Digi

Yes, only current Celcom users will get Celcom on Postpaid. All newly registered Postpaid will get Digi. But they are combining both into one, so more or less you will get the same signals strength.
They want you to kept an eye on they 4G signals. If no good, tell them. 😂
Honestly 4G is actually good enough on phone. CelcomDigi bandwidth was very good already. 5G not so useful just yet.
*
I'm agree with you since merger Digi network in indoor improves a lot. Mostly relying on 2100Mhz bands in most area.

Is Digi 4G reliable in PJ area? I dont need 5G, need stable internet connectivity good enough.  Im currently using Yoodo (Celcom), want to mnp to CelcomDigi Prepaid 5G. Most of the people say Maxis Hotlink is better
*
Why you want MNP ? Both Digi and Celcom now using same network in Klang valley in 70% of places. Either you subscribe Digi or use Celcom you get same experience.
B4 port in Maxis just buy sim card on 99 try the coverage

Digi celcom prepaid 5g edisi yellow has 40gb + unlimited calls VS yoodo 20gb + 100 mins call both at same price.

Not sure if yoodo will have more appealing plan after auto convert to DigiCelcom. Was told that the customizeable plan is to stay even after cease opearation.
*
Then go for it. CD Prepaid 25 definitely value for money. I think most places Digi improved in terms on indoor coverage mainly

Has anyone tried moving from CD postpaid 5G to CD prepaid Edisi Kuning? I recently wanted to changed mine coz cheaper and more data. I chose the “change plan” option on the website but it seems like they’re delivering me a new sim card? I wonder how does this work 🤔

Is it as simple as swapping the sim (and maintain existing number) or need to “port out” to prepaid since both under CD.
*
Just walk in Digi Store nearby they can do it. For Postpaid to prepaid need eKYC verification perform. I changed Digi Postpaid family 20 to Prepaid no issue

So I’ve tried switching from the Postpaid 60 SE to CD Prepaid Edisi Kuning. I’m surprised there’s no call from Celcom retention team, and the process was rather straightforward. Same like how you port to other carrier.

One thing I noticed, previously on postpaid it shows as “Bersama di Wilayah Celcom”. Now change to edisi kuning, it shows as DiGi. Thought my area edi fully integrated the network.
*
Yes Edisi Kuning still entitled to Digi. Edisi Biru for Celcom.
As network integration still going on 2 different brands are available. They might become one after successfully completing Integration nationwide

how’s the coverage and speed after merger?
*
Digi after merger lot better average can get 100mbps down. I'm living in Andalas coverage lot better. Before covid Maxis was better in coverage after Covid totally changed.
Maxis is living in 3G era just check the attachment.

QUOTE(patricktoh @ Jul 20 2024, 10:28 PM)
I have Celcom Fibre 50mpbs (no longer bond by contract) and Digi DS120 postpaid under my name.

I want to merge / consolidate the 2 billings then upgrade to CD OnePro plan with Mobile postpaid and 300 mbps fibre at cheaper overall cost (RM201/mth).

So I went to Sunway Pyramid Bluecube and Digi store to enquire how to change plan to CD OnePro. Digi Sales told me terminate Celcom Fibre plan and apply new 300mbps fibre under Digi. After Fibre internet is activated, switch mobile+fibre to OnePro plan.

The best part was CD backoffice later called me to switch Celcom Fibre billing to Digi instead. No need to terminate / reapply Fibre which I think make sense too.

I was stuck because Bluecube Sales told me unable to switch Celcom fibre billing to Digi because in actual both Celcom and Digi billings still running on different systems.

Another option proposed by Bluecube was port out Digi mobile into Celcom. I think this one even more cumbersome because I have 3 sub-lines. Haha..

Any advices from sifu-sifu here?
*
I think you can switch to CelcomDigi on Digi store without port in out thingy.. maybe ask Digi contact centre for better explanation. As Digi Celcom merger still on going kinda messy and less info to staffs

Everyone in the Digi store no integrity one , they just want postpaid sales , last time I work in Digi store , I quit my job after I found out the company way of doing business , sim card is free , died die want charge rm 10 from customers and many thing else , now you get sim replacement, you can do it in the machine in Digi store n you have to pay rm 10 😂
*
Digi store staffs area really good at manipulating or brainwashing customers.... They literally forget about they had prepaid plans instead recommending and forcing customers to get CelcomDigi Postpaid plans also saying getting free phone instead..
Or new type is ask us to open new line number for free phone....
Maxis doesn't it

This is lately happening after Merger of CelcomDigi
