Is there any way to hide that bar?

You want to hide and have nothing at all or back to old ribbon type? How to access tools?

Cannot hide.

Here is what most people do but you need to modify registry. This replaces the command bar with something more familiar tool.

very odd request .. why do you want to hide it? its very useful, moreover the new Explorer is sleek and simple compared with those in W7 and W10

i still using windows 10 and not yet fully explore windows 11. my sis want to hide it or the correct sentences is to minimize it like windows 10.

why not just update latest win 11?

i got 2 devices. desktop is windows 10.
laptop is 11. using desktop more than laptop.

The bar is very useful why hide it.

If you need full customisation then I suggest just use linux based OS je. You can do almost anything there but downside not all commercial softwares supported natively for linux. I will say Win11 is already good enough and they are trying to improve the experience gradually. I prefer to stick with Windows default look rather than having issue installing third party customisation apps that may impact on functional experience
