Both will not make it in Europe due to size expectation
They are good in Asia level but not messi level yet
Faisal can play in Thai League
Arif can play in J League
If go Europe may end up like Safawi or Luqman

Europe so many level of competition.

If Malaysia serious, buy a club in tier 2 or even tier 3 European league and put talented Malaysian in it.

Having most of the best Malaysian play in JDT is a waste.

Been there done that
Tony bought QPR but unable to sign any due to permit
Vincent bought Cardiff but only can give trial and academy
VT then bought Belgian Top league club Kortrijk and signed Luqman.. he only manage few friendlies goals and cameo in league games.. later loan him to Iceland club but still peram
JDT loan Safawi to Portimonense but return 6 months later with only 1 friendly cap..

The better option is to send young players to start with foreign academies.. higher chance move up to senior rank in club

Are they buying for themself or on behalf on Malaysia?

Also UK is known not to allow players from countries not in the top 100 ranking, so what is the point of buying them?

Plus I think even second tier English football (Championship) is still too strong for Malaysian players. Even if Malaysia is top 100 in ranking, unlikely we have players that can play regularly for a Championship club.

I think getting a club in a weaker league would have higher chance for a Malaysian to play regularly.

UK allow academy player to play
Richard Chin play for Charlton in League One for 5 games before taking up loan to Dartford for play time this year

Some national players like Darren Lok and Junior Eldstal had play in lower tier English club before too

J-league? We also had try few player there like nazirul naim, wan Zack and just few years ago hadi fayyadh.

Don’t get me wrong I like Japan cuz their youth development were good.. but to play in europe I would say better because proven many players go there and back to home soil they learn something about football not soccer in terms of structure, fans, training ground all very professional..

Please fam need to be more strict.. dont get bullied by s o u t h
We want more variety of player to add more pool of players
If we don’t sending player anymore football going to be dead so all we need to do is strengthened player first.
Just my two cents ✌️

Europe done that also in 90s and 2000s
Akmal Rizal and Juzaili Sameon sent to Strasbourg in France
Fadzli Shaari and Rudie Ramli sent to Wehen in Germany
We even sent the whole U23 team to play in Slovakia League!
2020s no money even NFPD chief LTK also fired

Actually Dominic play okok
Few stray lob to front in first half
But he kept his RCB position tight
Second half even mark out Krygyz Naturalised player before injured

Shahrul was worst off position in all 3 Kyrgyz goals
Maybe lack of playing time ahead of high intensity match

Anyway with both out after 70 minutes
Its a blessing in disguise
KPG sub in Daniel Ting to play LWB
And forced Dion Cools be lone CB flank by RB Matt LB Corbin
Then the defense became tighter and offence stronger

What you want is to get people playing in those leagues long term. Like their career is in Europe. Not for a game or two or even for a season or two.

They need to start as junior at academies
Dion Cools play 10 seasons in Europe including games in UEFA Champions League..
Nooa Laine has similar potential at Finland SJK
21yo Richard Chin is in the radar in England for few years more
Hakim Luqman struggling at the moment unless he willing to move to Bosnia league!

Calm your tits

H2H Malaysia 2-3 Taiwan
Malaysia won twice at home but lost all 3 away games at Taipei
Its always tough to play at cold Taiwan
Hopefully KPG can break this jinx
