Both will not make it in Europe due to size expectation
They are good in Asia level but not messi level yet
Faisal can play in Thai League
Arif can play in J League
If go Europe may end up like Safawi or Luqman

Europe so many level of competition.

If Malaysia serious, buy a club in tier 2 or even tier 3 European league and put talented Malaysian in it.

Having most of the best Malaysian play in JDT is a waste.

Been there done that
Tony bought QPR but unable to sign any due to permit
Vincent bought Cardiff but only can give trial and academy
VT then bought Belgian Top league club Kortrijk and signed Luqman.. he only manage few friendlies goals and cameo in league games.. later loan him to Iceland club but still peram
JDT loan Safawi to Portimonense but return 6 months later with only 1 friendly cap..

The better option is to send young players to start with foreign academies.. higher chance move up to senior rank in club

Are they buying for themself or on behalf on Malaysia?

Also UK is known not to allow players from countries not in the top 100 ranking, so what is the point of buying them?

Plus I think even second tier English football (Championship) is still too strong for Malaysian players. Even if Malaysia is top 100 in ranking, unlikely we have players that can play regularly for a Championship club.

I think getting a club in a weaker league would have higher chance for a Malaysian to play regularly.

UK allow academy player to play
Richard Chin play for Charlton in League One for 5 games before taking up loan to Dartford for play time this year

Some national players like Darren Lok and Junior Eldstal had play in lower tier English club before too

What you want is to get people playing in those leagues long term. Like their career is in Europe. Not for a game or two or even for a season or two.
