Apparently if Sir Rat actually acquire Utd as minority stakeholder, and since INEOS has shares in Nice, if Nice finish in the champions league spot and is higher position to Utd, Utd will be relegated to play in the Conference league, not even Europa League.
Interesting time...
Then how come PSG and Braga able to compete in UCL? Both owned by QSI
Another case is WHU and Sparta Prague? Sparta Prague’s owner owned 27% shares of WHU. Both team in Europa
And look at current La Liga leader Girona, if they secure UCL spot next season, will they get demoted to conference league? FYI, they are owned by City’s boss as well. City’s boss owned a lot of clubs across the world, he bought those clubs and put them as feeder clubs to Man City, so that City can send their players to develop at those clubs and sell them once they developed.
I don’t think Nice MU will have any problem with that since now new football era is not just football club or like us a commercial club, a football empire or something like football group organisation is the current trend now. City is the good example.
