Now that we need to defend deep and scrape in games, he is pulling his weight. Look at that period of sustained Everton pressure, Maguire did pretty well there. When you want points despite playing like crap, Maguire has to start.
thats why maguire very suits west ham very well when they come offering, he would have been a rock in their counter attacking squad... and alot of giants accompany him when he is defending compared to the midgets here in our squad... lol
