A small good news, Evans is back, played few minutes.
Maguire + Evans is far from perfect, but performance based, it is slightly better than Maguire + Lindelof.
It is not about individual skill, it is about chemistry.

While Varane injured again, even not playing at all despite few minutes.
It only further proved what I mentioned previously is correct.

Ten Hag keep emphasize he is not playing Varane because he see him as RCB, which Maguire already occupied the place.
For me, there is another reason, he wanna keep the same defence line to build momentum.
Yet Varane is too injury prone, play 3 match, injured 1 month.
It is just impossible to build the momentum around a player who is injury prone.

Thus Ten Hag is right to drop Varane.

QUOTE(O-haiyo @ Dec 8 2023, 10:09 AM)
lol what newcastle lost to everton?
and spurs lost again? from top to mid seriously....
*
I watched the highlight.

Spurs actually lack of lucks, their performance has actually no issues.
Look at those 2 goals from West Ham, the lucks were there.

About Newcastle, I think they might start to think seriously to sign De Gea.
Trippier mistakes was one thing, but among all conceded 3 goals, at least 2 goals can be saved.

He putting Sancho Varane Casemiro up for sale, but why not Rashford?
*
The club won't sell him to other England club.
Realistically only Real Madrid, PSG can afford his price.

When I say only these 2 clubs can afford his price.
I am not saying he worth 100M, since he is so bad this season.
I am saying only these 2 clubs have spare money to spend around 50M on a player + high wage, with high risk the player actually won't performing.

Yet, Real Madrid has Vinicius, PSG has Mbappe.
So no club is gonna buy him.

U might say, whether there is club wanna buy him is one thing.
Put him on sell is another thing.

My answer is, if already know there won't be any club wanna buy him, that mean he will stay.
If still put him to sell, he will only feel unhappy.
We know la, this Rashford, mentally weak as hell.
Unhappy = no performance

The only way is to wait until him score some goals.
When Mbappe really leave PSG.
Then there might be chance PSG wanna buy him.

So the soonest will be summer, not winter.
Put him on sell now will only make him unhappy = no performance = no buyer

In conclusion, if wanna sell him eventually, the only way is not to put him on sell now.
It is how pathetic it is.

What? We will play on Saturday night Malaysia time, which is afternoon time in England?!

Gosh, we just played on Thursday midnight Malaysia time , which is Wednesday night England time.

I don't expect to see the same performance, the pressing style of play is too stamina relying.
I don't even expect to see a same lineup, definitely at least 1 or 2 changes.

Anyway, I dunno why fans hype Amad so much.
If u don't like Antony, u won't like Amad neither.

They are basically same type of player.
Left footed right wing, look for cut in and shoot instead of passing, lack of crossing.

On paper, Antony is even a better choice with his physical and trace back willingness.
I just don't see Amad will have an impact like Ganarcho.

Player of the month - Maguire
Manager of the month - Ten Hag
Goal of the month - Ganarcho

Seriously?
This sounds like we are playing like Real Madrid, lol.

Martial shouldn't start the 2nd half. If he still start then GG this match.

I don't understand, he is one of the slightly better performer.
It is Shaw and Reguilon, and McTom that played bad.

Shaw keep passing back to Onana when opponent player is pressing Onana. Somemore pass to Onana left side while he is right footed.

Reguilon is hardworking but final crossing is lousy.

McTom, u know la.

QUOTE(even_steven @ Dec 10 2023, 12:05 AM)
Am I watching a different Marsial? He didn't track back and defend. When the ball at the wing, he doesn't know where to position himself. He either stay to the left, and let other player goes to the center of the box or stays outside of the box. He slipped once while running alone with the ball without any pressure. And near end just now, loose the ball and doesn't want to chase it back even though the ball is close and just let it go to Bournemouth player.

Beside failing to pressure Solanke for the first goal, Maguire plays well but he sometimes slow the attack too much.
*
He is not a CF like Hojlund and Haaland, he lack of skill of making CF type of run.
He is more like Firmino type of ST, hold the ball, and make the pass.

In this aspect, I think he did his job
It was Ganarcho that didn't make the run and midfielders that didn't make the run.
I saw it at least 2 times he wanna make the pass, but no one is running.

So Martial off now, any better, I don't think so.
It is the setup from defence and midfielders that failed to perform.

Yes, I don't understand at all.
People keep complaining Martial but keep ignoring the left side issue, which I mentioned.

Immediately after he's out, McTom got the chance to shoot. And see how Hojlund draws the defender.
*
I already said, not same type of player.
People keep expecting Martial does Hojlund type of job.
Also it is McTom that need to be off.

See, Martial x 3.
It is the whole midfield and defence.
Especially Shaw, Reguilon, and McTom.

So Marsial is not an issue as well? If he was good, we should've at least 1 goal in the 1st half.

Wow. Whatever, I really not interested to talk Martial point with u anymore.
For me, IT IS THE SETUP FROM MIDFIELD AND DEFENCE. PERIOD.
No matter it is Hojlund or Martial, little difference.

Ten Hag need to take most responsibility for this.
Doesn't sub off McTom and one of Reguilon or Shaw earlier.

Anyway, surprisingly Bayern also get unacceptable results.
What happened actually?

I still mean what I said.
They were underperformed players, several of them.
But Ten Hag take absolute full responsibility, he didn't sub them off earlier.
He even let McTom play full match, that is unacceptable.
