When i see the wii manual book for GH3, i was shock..its so complicated 2play using wiimote (might as well use guitar play easier)

After a coupla days of playing, I am getting better! Scoring an average of 4 stars on medium (which was what I was getting in GH2 using dualshock)...Have also managed to get all my siblings playing (sister, brother+wife) and everyone's having a blast!

Playing 2nd player with Wiimote is actually easy, but has it's own disadvantages. Easy because there's no strumming involved. But on the other hand like Paan mentioned, the assignment of the Red fret and Yellow fret (dpad right and A button respectively) are too close, and I only have one left thumb!

Nevertheless, have started co-op campaign with my brother with me using the Wiimote. Here's hoping we make it through...

Damn this game is fun! Money well spent.

just got my copy yesterday...bundled with wireless guitar. was expecting to buy for the xb360 platform, but no stock. can't wait much longer & since the wii version was selling at a cheaper price, decided to grab one.

almost finish the career mode....this is my first gh game that i've played, and have to say it is...FREAKING AWESOME. all the buzz & hoopla surrounding this game is well deserved. will join online once i've finish & get more practice...hehe

Do noe that in Co Op, one plays the guitar and the other bass. In other cases, one goes for Lead, the goes for rhythm.

If they had both playing guitars, it would also be cool though.

Bass can be kinda boring for some tracks. Dumb-downed as some says.

But I read there's no "rhythm" for GH3 Wii version

Rilly? thats an ouch. Some songs have the most challenging of bass notes. Some co op players might notice that Metallica's One is shifted on the 6th Setlist for the PS2 (Unsure about Wii.)

But Co Op is worth the unlocking of the extra encore songs. For those who are single players, look around for a cheat.

SPOILER ALERT!

'One' is on the last tier for Wii, shouldn't be different across all platforms.

But I agree, having to play co-op for those extra Encore songs are kinda crappy considering one player has to use the damn Wiimote to play(since no second guitar). It's just NOT FUN.

But I did see those songs(like Reptillia) when I did online co-op with Chris. I was like = More songs??

The last resort, Unlock All Songs Cheat. And don't think that the last Encore Song, Devil Went To Georgia is the hardest. Wait till you feel Dragonforce's Through Fire and Flames.
