Pork in Indian dishes is not that great because the distinct Taste of Babi sudah hilang disebalik rempah.

Wild boar is different, their meat is much harder and similar to mutton texture

Itu lain cerita sikit, itu pork sudah fried and curry served separately.

And Japanese curry itself is quite different to Curry we had in Malaysia.

What the fuck is "nasi kandar" and based on the definition it's malay version of chap fun, and through my limited understanding this fucking dish is totally in the nasi kandar category (rice, multiple dish to choose from, with curry gravy to add into rice).

Wtf is going on with Malaysia?

I never make pork curry before, those I had out there from Fusion Cafe feel off, not sure is the part they used or what.
Curry itself is rich in coconut milk fat, maybe they used pork belly made it too greasy and the pork taste doesn't stand out keep make me miss the taste of Chicken or Mutton.

But wild boar is totally different, memang blend well with curry.

Actually good point. Can tell the Muslim group to ban Muslim makan place from using the name ckt? Or any name that comes from other language. Like popiah, cakwe. It's for the Muslim sake.

Chinese biasanya won't get confused one, so its fine, but what if these food become so liked by the Muslims and become such a staple in their life, the names become synonymous to their food journey? Then later some Chinese owned stall sell these food and they mudah keliru think it's the same food they usually eat, then boom, haram.

It does if cooked the right. I have eaten pork curry with nasi lemak before. Chinese stall, more than 10 years they have pork curry on the menu.

If not mistaken, they cook it on slow fire.

Another Chinese shop that sell pork curry uses fresh milk, not santan for their curry.
Btw, more & more Chinese shop don't use santan in the curry cos the old timers complain 'angin'. So they use milk powder.
A few boss even promote it more healthy way.

I find it strange to have fatty pork cuts in curry. The purpose of the curry spice and long cooking time is to tenderize the meat, therefore lean cuts should be used.

Fatty pork (pork belly, three-layer cut etc) is usually cooked separately, ie the curry should be the kuah for the rice.
