Competing with Webull new promo of 6% for 90 days, the max of 200k is much higher too. If one doesn't mind keeping the money with an online broker (which a fund manager friend says is funded by Alibaba).

OK fair enough. Everyone can have different parameters for determining their competitive grouping. As for me, it's just depositing money for higher interest rate for almost the same risk. I doubt that Webull (which is backed by Alibaba) will fold up in the next 90 days. I don't intend to trade on Webull, Moomoo, etc., except for selling the free Nvidia shares they offer, which I did 2 days ago.

Similarly, many forummers here compare the interest rates of online brokers and investment companies (e.g. Webull, Moomoo, KDI, Versa) as well as of ASM, with Bank FD rates which have PIDM protection.

Even ASM is not capital guaranteed.

From ASM Product guideline dated 20 October 2021:

"ASM is a fixed price Fund and it is not a capital guaranteed or capital protected fund under the Guidelines."

1) 6% is for 90 days.
2) RM500 in Nvidia shares is for maintaining RM5k for 60 days.

The 2 rewards are stackable.
