Does your girlfriend still have Peranakan costumes?
Yes, it's part of their daily wear or special occasions.

Do her parents' birth certificates list their race as Baba/Nyonya?
Didnt ask, but they didnt mention anything on that.

Do they also cook Peranakan food?
Yes of course, a must have

Hi, does your family still cook Peranakan dishes? If there's any dish that hasn't been introduced here yet, please let me know.

For over 500 years, some people argue that despite time passing, there's still a perception that certain groups haven't fully integrated into society based on subjective criteria.

Do you means peranakan still preserve their own culture and dishes ?

Most Peranakan moved to Penang/SG in the last decade, you can see the increasing influence and food sold there. In Malaysia, I am afraid only Melaka is the only place left and even that is lesser due to increasing racism and Islamization. Note that despite marrying Malays, Peranakans are not Muslims as required by "law" in the past.

Yes some of them still preserve their culture.

Oldies still like to joget during celebration and weddings.
