Are your parents Baba or Nyonya?

Do you still cook Peranakan food or preserve customs and practices?

On the morning of Li Chun, you should take your pillows and blankets out to bask in the sun. This practice is about absorbing sunlight into your pillows and blankets.

So the good energy will go to your pillow.

Good luck will naturally come your way.

The language of the Baba Chinese , popularly known as ' Baba Malay ' , therefore has its basis in the two relevant languages, Malay and Hokkien-Chinese , the latter because the first Chinese immigrants were in fact predominantly from the Hokkien-speaking province of Fukien in southern China .
