I've hit 10k KM mileage on Axia. I'm thinking to swap the front and rear tires. Do you guys do it yourself or at shop?

Any concerns if I do my self?

i swap five wheel by myself
make use of spare instead letting the rot

The best so far I have done, my old Axia vs new Axia 15.7 vs 17.1 km/l respectively. Mixed driving 70% city roads and 30% highways. My new Axia not fully run in yet. Only 1K +
*
Wow 17.1 is quite repressive. My Axia now gets about 14.4km/l now but only clock about 500km + . Mostly city traffic.

Ya, it is a small engine vehicle and no choice to rev up higher to get the additional power from idle to cruise speed. That cause increase in fuel consumption

Slotting my sun shade, the sticky foam (back of the windscreen and dashboard) starts to stick to the shade and peel off. Any of you have the issue?

Maybe do some rubber filling will be good or how to maintain. Worry exhausting the foam will cause more noise or smtg in the future.

Changed it last week at the workshop, wah these day very easy nia, buy in shoppee, they arrange when to come, go to shop, change tyre at ur designated time, ciao. got 15% discount also compare to retail price.

Wah the tyre is really an upgrade, noticed alot of vibration gone, grip during dry/wet also maintains or probably more, cut water also good at 100kmh (just to test). So tyre is a little bit more quiet compared to stock, now i notice more noise in the cabin (rattling screw, etc) i think cannot be fixed liao, tin can car. tongue.gif

I find XM2 too hard for my old Axia. My 2nd generation Axia OEM tires are Toyo, which I find more comfortable but then the new Axia chassis is not the same.

mine is on XM2 plus.
its pretty comfy, of coz not as comfy and quiet as CC7.
but on the other hand, the handling and grip performance is good. you can have better confidence on wet roads.
just my take.
nevertheless, XM2 or CC7 or reputable models are all ok.

Wah OEM tires for newer Axia gets a Toyo? So fancy, FL only get kruizer whatever it is, so hard and noisy.

Of course, any issue and strange sound just sent to SC. The problematic part is that need to send in during weekdays and spend some time there.
