This is now a popular car seeming rising fuel price in the horizon. Can I check what is the real world fuel consumption be like?

Oh... highway ah... hmm. if normal driving (some city + highway) wonder can get 16km/l?... 19km/l for highway with slow cruising speed still quite a distance from the advertise 27km/l. Hopefully I can reach your way of low fuel consumption, still breaking in this car and taman driving gives me about 13km/l

QUOTE(technosakai @ Jun 25 2024, 09:18 AM) advertise 27km/l is like ac off? cruising 60km/h on their test track with consistent rpm throughout the testing. of course can hit la. Ya, understand that 27km/l is the best case scenario. But the real question is about how much difference in real world scenario. I think that 19km/l seems doable from the reply. Haha...real world situations always far off from as advertised I'm using axia G 2015, auto max also 14.1km/l only in town + highway now 100k mileage, engine seems sluggish a little, need to press more only can accelerate, dropped to 13.7km/l got jack and the tire wrench in the car, but why wanna go through all the hassle and DIY when you can do it at the shop? all done within 20 minutes or less? if no alignment + balancing, simple rotation only takes like 5 minutes? DIY gonna take you how long? all the sweat and hardwork. but if you wanna take it as an exercise, then go ahead. Just make sure to really tighten the nuts properly just don't go flying on the stock tires maybe since its just ran in 10k. stock tires were never good |

QUOTE(HippyTony @ Jun 25 2024, 03:15 PM) The best so far I have done, my old Axia vs new Axia 15.7 vs 17.1 km/l respectively. Mixed driving 70% city roads and 30% highways. My new Axia not fully run in yet. Only 1K + Wow 17.1 is quite repressive. My Axia now gets about 14.4km/l now but only clock about 500km + . Mostly city traffic. |

Ya, it is a small engine vehicle and no choice to rev up higher to get the additional power from idle to cruise speed. That cause increase in fuel consumption

https://www.perodua.com.my/after-sales/serv...aintenance.html You can check the service required and the estimated cost from the link above. It is quite straight forward. Some service center will throw in battery protector, windscreen washer fluid, engine cleaner fluid... you can politely reject them if you think it is not needed. dogbert_chew liked this post

QUOTE(Jedi3815 @ Apr 14 2025, 12:26 PM) Question to all. If you buy a 70mai, usually you can get the installer wire kit and the installer will do everything for you. I have this gear-up wire harness, and one of it says "DVR" which means Digital Video Recorder. I assume for dashcam, correct? but the slot doesnt seem like a USB connector. How can i connect if i buy a 3rd party dashcam such as DDPAI or 70mai? gearup wire harness : https://shopee.com.my/product/8441847/20262...GxoCwmYQAvD_BwE DDPAI dashcam : https://shopee.com.my/DDPAI-Dash-Cam-MINI-P...e0-a5ac273fe5cc If I'm not mistaken the gear up wire harness is use to power ambient lighting, not too sure about powering dash cam though. Maybe others can help. |
