To be exact, too many choices. Many new developments back then.

B. Indah had a double boost, 1st 2nd link then 10+ years later, the direct access to JB CDB

I remember back then Bukit indah havent really developed, I was using the back lane daily

now fuiyoh... change so much

Bukit indah, then Nusa Bestari , boommm

The Kempas interchange dunno when complete, now short of one more interchange then siap

600k shud be ok, considering the new prices of double storey terrace nowadays, for own stay no problem, for investing im not too sure

Do you mean the columbia asia hospital there to second link road and New Coastal Highway linking Iskandar Puteri from Danga Bay ?


Following the establishment of the Iskandar Development Region (IDR) (now Iskandar Malaysia) on 30 July 2006, the New Coastal Highway linking Iskandar Puteri from Danga Bay was announced.

These include the six new interchanges along the highway such as Skudai-TAR interchange, Taman Perling diamond interchange, Bukit Indah diamond interchange, Nusajaya North cloverleaf interchange, Legoland Malaysia interchange and the Iskandar Puteri roundabout interchange.

Construction began on 2008 and was completed in August 2011.

The Johor Bahru West Coast Parkway and the New Coastal Highway has now combined to become Iskandar Coastal Highway.

I cabuted (living) from bkt indah to terbau dev in 2010/12. Begining to be very chap, one reason why rental has been good till today.

When i first invested in bkt indah, there was only one bestmart at nusa bistari. We still had the sp setia private club house and swimming pool then, till it was demolished

wahhh jojo, now u said about it, I macam have some vague memory of tat club house, now kena which building occupy already?

im surprise tat major roundabout still havent kena utilise for money making

yea, rental good, 1st phase buyers of the shophouse all laughing to the banks

1st and 2nd phase house owners, there was one stage I remember the house were 35% below purchase price on the subsale market, rental was horrible , I think it was ard 2007, if those sold off tat time, cry lor

I remember when Jalan Kempas Lama was just a small road, my parents used it to get onto the highway to go to pasir gudang and plentong, it was to avoid the jam if you use the old fly over that also piped into perling, everything around the area was just sawit or hutan.

That club house was just at the roadside of now jln persisiran perling 2 (i think about where lotus or sky exe suite is, today - i too need to google it right). Back then, this persisiran was a small single lane two-way traffic road. This road takes you all the way to nusa bistari.

If you come from perling then, it was just on your left after the left turn into persiaran indah big round-about.

The clubhouse was free for the dev home owners/ buyers use. That's was why, bila captain liew (his bro) cakap end, time to demolish, its their right.

Precinct 19, got single storey meh? I thought all SST are at persiaran indah utama side

Shoplots at nusa bistari then was at 4-500+k only, bk indah abt 5-600k+ 🤭🤭

Nowaday, you want to find 2-sty, bo liow its history.
Minimum 3-sty, its a whole different ball game, renting out 3-sty is nightmare, not easy😱

Of late on the commercial front, few good clusters which were launched pre covid are seeing shutters rolling up for business.

2-sty, the new austin height (behind themepark) and vervo city, Indrapura, kulai. Both were launched at ballpark 1m and asking is going at 1.3-1.6m. Austin height unit has a smaller footprint 18x65 😱

3-sty, we have austin@crest, emarald and the Artiz (Setia indah). Both were launched about 1.8-2m, asking is going at 2.4-2.6m. These are with bigger footprint 20/22x75

Another new, is the scientex senai utama. Sadly it's not cluster but still the conventional set up, few rows fronting the senai main road. No idea on its pricing here.

Sorry, not sure on the foreign buy in policy here

Not very sure on the latest light ind factory units there, but I know the SMEcity (the cluster in front of IPD kulai) not doing too good till now. Very slow.
