Yes the same. Can report to mcmc to give maxis some trouble.

Same problem where Maxis without notice simply shorten the bill due date from 30 days to 25 days. When I spoke to CS, she initially insisted Maxis had provided email and SMS notifications. I contested her by asking to prove what were the dates such notifications were sent. She obviously couldn't, and then apologized but offered no solution either.

Complaining to MCMC seems the only way now.

just take the sms as a reminder. billing date is the official deadline.

I think they just trying to make u confuse.. brows.gif
any sms without correct info doesn't make any help, even for a reminder.
Just like the hotlink, always get sms like below, pointless sms, inactivated and terminated are complete different thing, but they were sending a same message:

Your Hotlink will be inactivated/terminated onĀ  xx:xx xx-xx-xxxx Pls top up to stay active.

Like bank cc your due date and billing date not the same.

Billing date is after full month usage (28/29/30/31).
After bill date they allow N numbers of day to settle the payment.

Now Maxis is playing with the N number. Previously is full month 28/29/30/31 days subject to the month. Now i think they shorten it to 25 days.

Credit card standard is 20 days. High chance Maxis will follow that as well.

This is beyond mcmc ruling how many days to settle payment, cause telco dun charge interest, it is goodwill to allow the N days.
