I don’t think so. No one is forced to go for halal certification. It is voluntary. But if you want to serve the Muslim patrons, then halal cert is an advantage

for private business meal / event, its well known in corporate world that alcohol needed for certain situations, muslim usually sit there accompany makan while non-muslim colleague help to accompany foreign clients minum, but at least can makan same food all together. minum2 dah nanti business senang deal...
