Anora have bot coverage for the system as well as lost of income. They only recommend to start cover after your system is installed.

yes... ive mentioned before for normal ppl best get nem contractors... obviously when wanna diy one should have enough technical knowledge, its pros and cons to take on the risk and enjoy the rewards...

Going off grid and self sustain is always possible. As long as u get ur calculation right and you are willing to fork out the money for storage. And not to mention a slightly bigger solar panels to ensure ur storage can be sufficiently filled up on bad weather.  It’s all about how much you are willing to fork out. And of course this kind of project, don’t bother the ROI. It’s more towards self satisfaction.

Is it possible to use a larger kwp system to offset days or months with lower yield?

The consumption is mostly after 5 pm during work days. No one around during day time.
