Non citizens have the longest life expectancy in Malaysia because they retire and live like kings over here with their savings in strong currency denomination.
Say thank you to weak Ringgit and peasants who in their entire life earn in MYR and struggle through racist tongkat policies getting no where had their life shortened. |

How Much Longer Do Fruit and Veggie Eaters Live?
According to research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, “Subjects who consumed five fruits and vegetables a day lived an extra three years compared to their non-plant-eating counterparts.” https://www.bluezones.com/2017/08/servings-...add-years-life/ |

This table clearly shows relationship between affluence and life span. Foreigner in this context, I am assuming are expats who have much higher financial standing and access to better standards of living in their earlier part of life and have great medical benefits here. Indians on the other hand are at the lower spectrum of income and much reduced access to good medical facilities, and also poor education levels, leading to lack of health awareness, hence lower life span. In short discriminatory policies may be main cause of Indian community’s lower life span. If this is the case, it is an atrocity committed by those in power. Gwynplaine liked this post

QUOTE(treblecase @ Sep 29 2023, 11:28 AM) Those who eat a lot of "happy food" not only have shorter lifespan but also more pains and suffering in their old age. Many of these people who eat food for enjoyment end up being over weight obese, have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol. When above 60 they have difficulty to walk, need walking stick, eventually need wheelchair. No strength, heart weak, no energy, always need medicine. You think they are enjoying life? Those who eat a long term healthy diet and maintain good weight, do frequent exercises not only lives longer but can have less pains and suffering in their old age. |

QUOTE(river.sand @ Sep 28 2023, 07:53 PM) Chinese are more concerned with health; BEAR! RAWR!Malays are more concerned with sexual health; Indians are more concerned with drinking bear... P/S not mean to offend anyone. On a more serious note, food could be the main cause. How much sugar each race consume. As for non-citizen, I believe those were expats or MM2H permit holders and generally they are more conscious about sugar intake. Im over 60 being eating nasi kandar banjir, CKT, deep fried sotong etc past 4 decades. Yearly blood test ok incl cholesterol levels. Weekly moderate exercise might have countered my poor diet.
