nope..i didnt try the beta FW...i am still on the latest offical fw release.

i guess i just have to wait for the next official FW release.

the downside with the m2ts is the chapter fwd and bkwd doesnt work, i still can select subtitles and audio track properly.

at least they are lossless audio.

i also noticed the lag when media player classic plays these file....i closed all other applications and it didnt help.....well i left one thing on and that was the thing that caused the lag.....it was firefox...believe it or not.

errr.....6500a, when playing the m2ts file....i can switch btwn the audio tracks and subtitles. the only thing that doesnt function well is the chapter fwd and bkwd thing

how much are bd drive in msia nowadays?

i saw internal LG BD+HD DVD burner for 189euro and external for 249euro.

yes, 6500a support gigabit connection....but my pc is old and neither is my router gigabit.....read somewhere the gigabit function on the 6500a might not be very fast at all. i tried streaming thru the 10/100 and yep, it lags. for the time being I am ftp-ing the files to the internal HDD.

am still waiting for the right time to get the qnap...then we'll see how well it streams bd files via gigabit network.

k8118k...i think the qnap 209 II should be in the range of rm1080 to rm1180?

eh at least you have a substitute for your tvix while its away on therapy

by the way....i've added a toy to my tvix....have yet to set it up though
