noob question here. all the temperature reading in the first page using Fanless Heatsink or Heatsink with Fan? Thinking of using Thermalright Ultra120 without fan - anyone knows can predict the temperature idle and on load?

Core2Duo E6600 @ 3.4GHz ~ 1.34Volts ~ Thermaltake Bigtyphoon VX ~ Idle 42°C, Load 53°C

What might be the best after-market CPU cooler around at the price of roughly around RM100 - RM150? Best it would be capable to be on AMD(939) and Intel (775) platform..

add rm10 u can get scythe ninja rev.B..good cooler...

It's there in the link.. but don't know how it performs against the latest Noctua.

if this is priced at around rm250 and perform similarly with the Ultra extreme, it's definitely a good buy considering it comes with a RM80 fan

edit: and the ultra comes wid no fan...

Its for cooling down AMD X3 3800.

How about get both, test it out, keep the one that's good and sell the other one?

i think xigmatek not bad. because i got one for my fren it is quite good actually. plus the price is cheap. if ur budget can go higher, i suggest thermalright's Ultra 120 extreme.
