This is why I scheduled my router to turn itS LED off at night .. atleast for 12 hours. Wish my Huawei ONU had the same feature too to extend the longevity of those LED in that ONU.

It's not rumors. The TM Point Agents as well as Online Agents confirmed the permanent upgrade. It depends on the type of SWU you receive.

Since you're halfway done with the 6 month waiver ... what speed did you sign up your SWU3 for ? Was it 100Mbps @119 or 300Mbps @119 ?

I confirmed this with online chat. It seems that some people say '12 month only' because of an older version of swu which gives them a promo of 12/24 month speed upgrade. However in my case, the agent comfirmed no such promo things stated in my account details ... meaning what my TMPoint said is correct which is perpetual.

So in this case both infos are valid. Just that slightly old swu applicants will have the 12 month promo listed onto their system. The agent did say to confirm with your TMPoint nearby.
