The free mesh router for SWU 3.0 is Fiberhome now? No more D-Link? Which router is better actually?
*
Depends on your luck. Some get DLink, some get Fiberhome.

I think both probably around the same. I have the DLink 3060. Will try it out later. My uncle's office using the Fiberhome SR1041F. No problems so far.

Thinking of testing out the TP-Link AX23 I bought for RM89....What do you think, Sifu?

Cheap. Buy already use lor. If not as router, then as AP also good. I think all the cheaper routers all using Mediatek. Highly likely it's the same chipset (check if it's on http://fccid.io) as Fiberhome SR1041Y or other cheaper AX1800 wifi routers.
*
Yup. Might just do that. Thanks

Yup MediaTek Cpu. Any way to activate WDS on the AX23?

Nope not using any of that?
How did you troubleshoot the issue? I been having this problem for over a week already. Already restart everything few times...

TM's routing seems shittier today, particularly in Kuching. I'm only getting 350-380M when I Speedtest via Wifi to Singtel server. 60.xx.xx.xx, 175.xx.xx.xx, 124.xx.xx.xx range all shitty. Speedtest to TM KL server also shitty.

I only see 500M, or close to it, if I Speedtest to TM server in Kuching.

Also, for packages above 100M, TM now promises to 75% of advertised speed.

What's the asking price? If within my target price, I could be interested.

That was one of the special plan for Sarawak/Sabah, speed upgrade excluded.
But some of their latest bill suddenly shot up to rm89 and they have been making noises about it.

Apparently, from the comments, kampung and assorted ulu places, as well as Felda, also have such a plan.

Remind me in a week. I still have to confirm with her if she wants to use the DLinks. I did some tests as APs. They're actually not bad but only for a few hours so reliability still undetermined. Feature-wise, though, they're quite bland.

Yup. UnifiTV RM60 free also. Looks like we're subsidising our Kampung brothers and sisters.

What is your plan? Seems like MESH6 plans get a pair. VAR+UPB gets only 1 unit. But still not 100% sure if that should the case.

My single unit installed on ground floor living area (situated at front of house) unable to provide wifi to the 1st floor rooms (back of house). Have to use repeater on 1st flr.

my prev tplink c3150 and M9 plus also can reach 500mbps without any prob.. i think wifi 6 is more of the range and if u need anything ,ore than 500mbps thne maybe wifi 6 would benefit
*
TPLink C1200 using wireless backhaul gives mes 450-500M too. Now I have to decide what to do with my AX23. It's newer than the AC1200 but no Easymesh, no wireless backhaul. WTF!
