went to unifi app to order 100mbps/rm89 package 6 days ago.
canceled order after TM changed the items of the package 2 days ago. got a phone call from TM this afternoon. gave me 2 options . 1)upgraded to 100mbps in 2 days if contracted for another 2 years. 2) free upgrade to 100mbps in 2 months without contract . fuxk TM. choose option 2 . |

I suspect TM is deploying delaying tactics again . few got free speed update at the moment . the existing subscribers are waiting and waiting until DECEMBER . suddenly all get free speed update in December.

QUOTE(CAL V @ Oct 14 2023, 02:53 AM) Just sharing my swu upgrade results. Upgraded from 100Mbps 2019 Turbo plan to SWU 300Mbps plan. SR1041F is good enough if the router is placed centrally in single storey house.Technician came to install on Thursday, gave us FiberHome SR1041F router (1unit). So far my speedtest looks good, and the FiberHome router also works better than I thought so far. 5m away from router, 5Ghz channel. No direct line of sight, no door. Device: iPhone 11 ![]() 2nd floor, back bathroom. 2.4Ghz channel. Furthest point from the router within the house. About 4-5 walls in between. Device: iPhone 11 ![]() Nothing to complain about I guess, the Wifi6 itself is already outperforming my AC68u in all aspects for speed and range. If I have to upgrade from here, means burn more money la |

QUOTE(coolguy_0925 @ Oct 15 2023, 04:12 PM) I think most will get nothing from the MSAP 2026 . for example ,100 mbps package is priced RM89 / RM99 . it means 100 mbps may be reverted to RM99 in a few months . in year 2026 , TM will announce price reduction across the board due to MSAP 2026 . 100 mbps /RM99 will be reduced to 100mbps/rm89 . it means the existing subscribers in year 2023 will get nothing. do not pin high hope on MSAP 2026 . |

QUOTE(Oltromen Ripot @ Oct 30 2023, 05:30 PM) did you report? reported with livechat at 9AM yesterday and fixed 3pm today. the downtime is more than 24 hours .we thought 24hr guarantee is time since a report is created. some had otherwise claimed that the 24hr guarantee is the time since your report is eventually assigned to somebody to fix. QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Oct 30 2023, 05:57 PM) start from time report. u need to screenshot the incident till resolved. then submit to tm. wait few month to give u money. The chances are very slim. look like TM does not fulfill the promise. the technical report on the unifi app can establish chronology .TM will pretend dunno this incident from happened. unless u chase every month till they fed up to refund as rebate This post has been edited by issac99289928: Oct 30 2023, 06:23 PM |

QUOTE(jackpop @ Nov 3 2023, 12:01 AM) I experience download speed is limit to less than 20MB/s. you probably use USB wifi AC adapter . use intel pcie card if you want to make full use of 500mbps.My package is 500mbps and i assume i should get download speed around 50 to 60 Mb/s. But this is not the case. I tried to download Windows iso file and also apple ipsw file, still get less than 20mb/s I do speedtest, i'm able to get more than 500mbps download speed. Anyone has any idea how to resolve this ? This post has been edited by issac99289928: Nov 3 2023, 08:12 AM |
