Yes walk in to any of your nearest TM Point and try to ask and apply for SWU 3.0 rm119 Plan.  FYI not all TM Point allow customers to take or change into this plan.  Depending on a bit of luck too e.g counter staff not moody etc etc lol.

Actually i went to tmpoint to apply.. the appointment was scheduled.

After changed my plan last Wednesday,

Today TM came and configured.
Got my Free 2 x MESH6 (FiberHome AX3000 SR1041F) and immediately I got my 300Mb to 500Mb speed upgrade.

Monitor & Testing the FiberHome MESH6 now.

My New Plan name: Unifi 300Mbps - staywithUnifi 3.0 (MESH6)

Online TM portal still show my old package name, not yet change to new name yet.

I thought the speed will be automatically upgraded for existing customers. Why is everyone applying to switch to SWU 3.0? Is it because of the 6 months waived fees? Can apply through live chat or not?

this is the setting i used on my Tp-Link AX10..so far can get 500/530mbps download and constant 100mbps upload if stand near the router

the sales lady just call me back & offered me SWU3 RM119 package with 500MB free speed upgrade.

I finally got it & I don't have to waste my time going to tmpoint also.

Also just found out that older phone devices with even support to wifi5 standards, can not utilize max speed download even standing near to router side by side while connecting to a Fiberhome wifi6 grade 5ghz .

Where else my current phone which can receive wifi 6 has no issue hitting close to 500mbps.

Now I'm starting to suspect that the high speed being transmitted out by wifi6 router is too much for the old devices to handle.

Poco F1 (connected to WiFi6 fiberhome 5ghz)- max out around 230mbps

Poco M3 (connected to Fiberhome 5ghz)- max out around 200mbps

Realme Narzo 20 pro- cant even connect at all and the phone will just keep crashing but when connected to my Wifi5 ap router , cant even hit 180mbps above on 5ghz network while the others can hit around 200+

having speed above 100mbps is also a challenge , you need newer supported and supporting devices. what a challenge .

My Poco f1 can achieve 500mbps on TP-Link EAP613 wifi 6 AP

Got to be honest to you, EasyMesh is not great, not terrible. But comparing to all other mesh implementations out there, it's probably the worst.

If I were you, I will do the conventional access point setup for all remaining routers and configure them with same SSID and password.

Believe it or not, you might get better roaming than EasyMesh and definitely better stability.

That's what I will do so I won't need to manually switch Wi-Fi when walking around.

However, some people have specific use case where they want to make sure a device only connect to a particular AP. It depends on you.

As the Chinese saying goes, you get what you paid for.

Not surprised when a proper AP performs better than a router that comes for free with your ISP.

Went to the KLCC Unifi Centre. SWU 3.0 is still available as someone else posted earlier.

They showed me the packages. There isn't a 500 Mbps package with an upgrade to 800 Mbps for 1 year for RM 119 as some folk posted earlier.

RM 119 was for 300 Mbps with a perpetual upgrade to 500 Mbps.

Did I misread the earlier posts?

D-link Dir 3060z (also ax3000 rated), but I read quite some feedbacks saying that their internet connection will drop after a week usage and always have to restart to get everything back running again. and some said the coverage of wifi signal is not as good as fiberhome if got level difference in your home.

I think many people here mentioned about this router not long ago. This was a great Asus alternative to the TP-Link AX73. Recommended by sifu Blacktubi, you can check the review in his website.

However, if not mistaken your AC86U should still have no problem providing 500Mbps no?
