Many people, both on this and other forums, have asked my opinion on Babolat racquets. Some time back, I posted mini reviews of some Babolat racquets on Tennis.com's (Official Tennis Magazine website) forum. In the end, I ended up getting the Nadal Aeropro Drive Cortex (for looks more than anything else) but my recommendation to most players was (and still is) the Pure Drive Cortex.

I've seen a 4/10 condition o3 Tour being sold 2nd-hand in a shop for RM250 so, if Lordsharingan's racquet is in mint condition as he says, this is steal!!

Just start small my friend. Do a small one that only involves your Nilai College staff and students - sort of like a fun day out for your college. Offer a small entry fee and get a decent prize, say some trophy or something.

Just make sure that no coaches or pro-players play for this "friendly" tournament. That's the mistake I did when I organised one at my university. If the "pros" want to play, organise a 2nd tourny just for them, at a later date.

The main thing is to make the first event fun and easy to manage. Then work from there as the interest picks up. Good luck!

MY KBLADE 98 REVIEW:

Seems to be a big amount of interest in the Wilson KBlades... anything to do with Djokovic, Tsonga or the Williams sisters? Just 2 years ago, shops couldn't even sell the nBlade!!

Whether or not it's suitable for a 3.0 is another thing as I feel stronger intermediate to advanced players will benefit more from the control you get from this heavier stick. Perhaps the lighter, slightly more powerful KBlade Team 104 maybe a better fit?

What's your play level (beginner, intermediate, advance) and play style (singles, doubles, baseline, all-court)?

The most versatile Babolat is the Pure Drive (Cortex). Heavy but pretty headlight and with a little customisation, you can use it for both singles and doubles!
