I m NON Pro/Max guy, every time I upgrade to basic model only.

This year iPhone 15 is a great upgrade, I m actually thinking to change from iPhone 13.

In fact, if u r using iPhone 14, this is still worth to upgrade to iPhone 15.

Most people will see me as a poor guy, but I don't mind.

15 is a joke. No upgrade whatsoever. A recycle of 13 and 14.

camera and ram are more important to me.

Camera and ram android always has better advantage but then i still want to buy iphone every now and then just to test it.

For a device which we use everyday for more than 3-4 hours daily, I say just go for the best we can afford.

Doesn't matter iPhone or Android or both. No other device comes comes to the amount of time we use it.

Am using a 13 pro max and I don't see the point of upgrading with no revolutionary changes and since my phone is still good. A few years ago I used to change every year but now I don't see the point.

Not sure but to make my wife happy, this has to be done!

but iPhone 15 Pro Max is a bad upgrade if coming from iPhone 14 Pro Max.

That’s all I can see the different, so I don’t need an upgrade

For my wife she’s using ip13, so this is like an upgrade to her

I think the difference in type-c between pro and non pro is such a con job. Pro has faster charging and transfer speeds. But even 1000rm androids have it.

The chip for 15 is is 13 and 14 upgrades. So u decide on comparing 13 and 15.

For me if u want iphone that worth upgradeable or better for upgrades when ur iphone is at least 2 years old (at least older 2 iphone version) else is depends on ur itchiness or wallet or any extra kidney.

Heard the camera system is actually worse than 14 and that up more space without noticeable improvement. Many photographers using ipon starting to flood in with their view.

I admit if it's those dedicated finger print (back of the phone) never fail. I used a cheepo oppo before and it works marvellously.

Apple has downgrade the spec of base model till it is like a version of “SE” with skimped features.
Many believe the 15 and 14 Pro share the same display hardware but Apple software locked the 15 to 60Hz and turn off the always on display.
Even the battery rating is purposely lowered even though it has a higher battery capacity than 15 Pro.

The USB C port is probably software locked too to USB2 speeds

iPhone 13 user here. Never had a Pro model before but thinking of getting the 15 Pro this time. Previously cannot tahan the shiny stainless steel sides and the weight. Now changed to Titanium, going to give it a try. One thousand ringgit more than the normal iPhone 15 is a pain though....

Made up my mind to get the black 15 Plus

i actually expect all the new iphone 15 series should at least have 120hz display, but it didtn very very disappointing
so it turn out the cheapest 120hz iphone at that time is iphone 14 pro RM4449 and all ppl rushing for it.
for now, u still can buy 14pro max at machines at RM4949 (black, purple, gold) silver sold out.

Should have waited a lot longer when they update it to USB-C connector.

On the other hand, I am currently using an iPhone 7 Plus.

Actually for your case, buying iPhone 14 Plus/iPhone 14 Pro Max/iPhone 13 Pro Max maybe better since they have lightning port with your AirPods.

Downside is that iPhone 14 Plus could have poor resale value like iPhone 4S after launch of iPhone 5 with Lightning port.

If you do decide to buy, I suggest going for iPhone 14 Plus for the lighter weight that is more similar to your iPhone 7 Plus. Imo iPhone 13 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max too heavy 😅

ip 5 too expensive.. can’t afford

iphone 14pm can easily last a couple years more, can always change few generation later when apple implement new design or some innovations happen, would never upgrade if holding a 14pm or at least not this generation unless one fancy usb c

Don't worry, your phone can definitely last until iPhone 18, and you can buy AirPods Pro Gen 2 for cheap as a reward 😎
