Ibanez GSA60 (RM800ish) + Roland Microcube (RM420) + Gigbag (Rm120) + Strings, picks, strap and cable (RM100) = Your budget tongue.gif

I just got this combo for a family friend of mine. Good tones all around.

Sharpness also can come from the guitars........
Compare a Fender Strat VS a Gibson Les Paul on the exact same amp.

Yeah. Microcube has some basic effects like delay and chorus...... plus the overdrive and metal tones are quite good.

Why do you need so loud? Are you playing for gigs or something?
trust me, The Microcube will surprise you in how loud it can get.
