Try one out at bentley... it's surprisingly powerful for a tiny little amp. TRUST ME. You won't even pump it up to full.

Seriously, the Microcube is MORE THAN ENOUGH for bedroom playing that you'd regret buying a cheap 15W amp.

from UG, u'll nid 50w to sound twice louder than the 5w amp. so 10w and 5w wont b such a big difference.

correct me if i'm wrong. i'm always wrong =(

im a beginner and new here.
need help from pros here notworthy.gif
currently im using a cheap 10w amp with no effects, only gain
im planning to start adding other effects to my play eg: reverb etc.
should i just get a multifx or get a better amp with those effects built in?
btw im still a student. tight budget sweat.gif

if you're on a tight budget, a multi fx should be better. you can experiment with all sorts of effects and some even have drum machines so you don't have to buy a metronome. i only use a distortion pedal, no effects whatsoever cry.gif

Since you're a beginner, go with a Multi-FX..... You won't need the power of a bigger amp anyway.

And besides, with a multi-fx, you can always use it later with a bigger amp.

do you mean you recommend the pocket pod for my budget?

btw i'm from ipoh.
there's only around 2 or 3 music stores which i know that sell electric guitar stuffs.
so the choices of products are very limited. might not have the stuffs that u guys recommend. sigh

Really? Too bad... they are some nice folks. That time I wasn't really serious about playing guitar, went there just to look around and not buying anything...

Anyway if you want an ibanez, a good choice is the RG321MH. It's a fixed bridge though but will save you from tuning problems.
