According to TnC, cashback goes in the day after the transaction is posted. I guess 1 or 2 days. I also made my first 2 GXBank PIN and wave/PIN purchases with the card today.

Just saw "AirPay Malaysia Sdn Bhd" excluded from 1%. TnC dated 21 Feb 2024. Can't remember if it was in there earlier.

AirPay Malaysia is for things like Shopee's bill payments and prepaid topups. Not sure what else.

gxb card is a debit card right..

so the 1% cb not that attractive..

u dont compare with cc. it is better compare to ewallet.
after u utilize cashback from cc, then use gxbank- it is good alternative. they are not here to fight with cc. if compare to traditional bank, which bank offer 1% cashback on debit card?

welp thats my point. i dont use debit card at all. so for my use case its not attractive to get the debit card

have enough CC to cycle through my monthly spending. even if cashback limit hit already, i think i still prefer the 30~50 days credit period.
another thing also is cause its debit card, so need store funds inside gxb. i rather store the funds inside rize.

Pay today, get 1% cashback tomorrow or the day after the transaction is posted. Tried with 7e, got the 1% the next day. Another transaction with car workshop still processing. Much better than CC 1x points.

Just tried TNB. Paid RM10 on the MyTNB portal. See if I get my 10 sen or not. Much better than CC 1x points on utilities.

My CC 15% & 5% cashback caps finished already. GXBank 1% is of course unlimited. ABB 8X points and HLB 8X is 1.33% & 1.25% respectively, so GXB 1% the choice after those and/or for excluded categories. Very handy to have GXBank.
