Apart from kitchen, did you use this contractor to do other things like bathroom as well?

Bro, my Ikea kitchen cabinet less than 15 years old but they have already changed the design from the previous Faktum to the current Metod.
How did you change your Faktum doors? Get other kitchen cabinet contractors to do?

I see in the video comment the uploader said include the run away contractor bill also. I think he budgeted around 400-500k and got scam the balance by bankrupt contractor bill.

The reno price i think include structural and tear down / rebuild also based on the picture and appliances/finishing. Sometime its much more economical to buy a newly build house unless you really like the location.

Yeah lor at 700k, enough to get another rental property. Cash. Unless you are so rich that you can just ignore that ...

You really don't need 50K for kitchen cabinets only Get your tile guy to do your kitchen table and tabletop (just use tiles, no need for expensive tabletops), then get the furniture guy to do the carpentry (premium woodchip ones will do).

However, if you wanted everything premium like granite table top, solid wood, that's totally different league.

Define nicely, structural works not that expensive but the finishing i.e. tiles, ceiling, lightings etc consumes alot of dollar

Depends, many people like after buying house don't have that much money left? Thus we make do with what we have left and maximize what we can install To each their own I guess, there's no right no wrong here.

Of coz to each their own. That's why I clearly said budget is 50k for kitchen so no point saying I don't need to spend 50k for kitchen
