AC charging at the mall is good, just need to plan the charge time and your time at the mall. If need to purposely go unplug and move to another spot a bit of an hassle. I would rather not charge 😂. Home charging still most convenient, but free stuff umm… yeah actually my previous trip I purposely stayed at Velocity to access the charger 😂.

Hi all, curious about how insurance premium works in CBU EVs (like Seal/Model 3). Since the insurance premium will be based on the vehicle's current market value. Currently, the import and excise duty exemption for fully-imported EVs will be ending Dec 31, 2025.

That means, the EVs you have now will likely be way more expensive than it would have depreciated by that time (for example, the Model 3 SR might be selling 300k+ without tax exemption). Does that mean your insurance premium will also increase?

Safest time to buy is just before tax holiday is over, hence after that with tax price kick in... it will never be cheaper... so wait until then.

Some youtube/guide shows we can adjust the Cabin protection temperature but my M3 got no such option?

You can adjust the temperature (the value i mean)? From the manual, it is set to 40' (we can't change this)
But I search online, they can change. Maybe different model/firmware level.
