When it AP at 120 km/h and overtake lorry I feel very anxious 😂 cause it takes middle of the lane and these lorry some makan a bit so awfully near.
*
Yaya
That's why I never use AP on NSE
Too many lorry truck on nse nowadays

Once a while, when really no big truck,
will activate AP before approaching those AES camera
To make sure drive below 110kmh in front of camera
Most just for fun

But
Tesla adaptive headlights function is a must for highway
Especially Nse on night time
It's God sent feature

I think most Tesla owner here know this
But surprise to me, both my colleagues and neighbor don't know about this
"adaptive headlights " thing

It's make night drive on highway so so so much more safety and comfortable

The price difference between LR & Performance smaller than expected

Really a tough decision for me
Rm24k for that different and performance

The only downside of performance variant I can think :

-Range -100km

-20' Tyre will be nightmare in Malaysia road conditions

-Ev road tax( may be government will put very high road tax on performance level ev , to justify the critic from public? )

But for track kaki,
This performance price sure will be a damn good deal

Just wait for road tax structure to reveal this month end
Range can be negated with Supercharger 250kw
*
Range is important for frequent raod trip user
I use LR ,kl - Penang ,avg speed 140kmh
Soc left 20%

No need charging stop in between

So whenever we go Penang ,jb
We just charge at hotel car park overnight

If with this performance range
Sure have to stop and charge at perak area
Or drive slower ard 110kmh
But then whats the point buying performance variant, end up drive slower than lorry on highway?
Hahaha

So thats really depends every ppl needs

yea...only RM400+ per month compared to Long range. You get Porsche ICE performance for that pricing, of course, incomparable with Porsche car.
*
Yeah I think worth too

Cbu ev tax exemption not gonna extend again though

This is once in the life time to own the super car performance experience,
With price tag below rm 250k

Anyone? Actually was gonna forget about getting it but the price slash is making me reconsider it. Only thing holding me back is the ground clearence
*
LR 18' never have ground clearance issue for me

Btw today my phone non stop have msg come in
Keh poh asking for feeling about price cut
Hahaha

For me I really appreciate Tesla Malaysia do follow other country practice
Disrupt the car market ,make it more competitive

Now the price difference between long range and performance is more like it. If the long range version stays at 218k while the performance version is selling at 242k then it makes little sense considering the sweet upgrades on the performance version for a difference of just 24k.
*
Ya,now the LR are make sense again
Long time ago Tesla USA have so call m3P stealth version

Performance with 18' tyre

This is perfect setup for me

I really dislike 20' tyre
puncture and rim problem
Very difficult to find tyre
Very expensive tyre

Just come back from east coast,I have make up my mind and decided to sell the ice car (spare car which hardly drive after having Tesla )

Moving forward will have 1 ev only in the house

The main reason is me and my wife are from kl family,
Have no kampung to balik every festive holiday

Although for working reason ,I have to travel Penang/JB/east coast every month

I found that on normally week day, Tesla supercharger are plenty and always working fine

So really no point to take care another ice car as spare

Especially those who doing business with mnc ,which like those ESG score things....

Actually I've not seen any reviewers achieving the WLTP for Tesla. I feel Tesla's WLTP damn off la compared to the rest  sweat.gif

M3LR 18" is 141 Wh/km for the EPA ratings, I think is about 110 Wh/km for WLTP...

I've only gotten 110 Wh/km drive when driving late at night... smooth road... between 80-90 km/h lol.
*
Yes,I also LR 18",
if driving in mrr2 /kesas/elite , with constant speed ard 80km/h
Then only Can get ard 110wh/km

Avg for the whole year is 151wh/km
Mix city + highway driving 50/50

Wow the acceleration boost is finally starting to become available for Model 3 Long Range AWD for 3k AUD!

I wonder if the acceleration boost is already available for our existing Model Y Long Range AWD? If yes, how much does it cost in MYR?
*
Finally
Been waiting for this since day 1

NMC advantage over LFP... power delivery!  drool.gif

But seriously if want performance... baik beli M3P... but this is a good option for those who bought first batch before M3P arrived la to get more ommph... at least fast enough to abang Seal P.
*
Ya,last year I can't wait for the m3p, hantam LR and wait for this boost

And I do really need the LR range on the highway
Have to travel outstation every month

I wonder if the MYLR sold here has access to AB? I didn't see anybody sharing it yet as well.
*
Just confirm from my customer model Y LR
Malaysia don't have
He had ask Tesla Malaysia , they also not sure about this

We wild guess may be pending jpj approval?

And the coming soon ev road tax also calculated by power output
Don't know this acceleration boost affecting the power output calculation or not

M3LR 366kW declared in roadtax, that is with AB figures.

Without AB it is about 300kW ~ 390hp peak.
*
Then JPJ should be okay with the AB option
Don't know why Malaysia model Y don't have this available yet

Any Tesla owners can share your experience…

If I want to pay high % amount for downpayment. Like 50-75% of the car total price.

What mode of payment you use ya? Bring all cash is totally dangerous. Credit card? Bankers cheque? TT??
*
Year 2023 , Tesla Malaysia not receive any cheque
Only can bank transfer
So take few day to bank transfer

Don't know for now
