Hi there, I booked a Model 3 Performance on 27 July'24. So far, I haven't received a VIN. You said you are estimating a huge delivery during September. Will it be similar like this news?

Tesla Malaysia being Model 3 Performance deliveries

Any guess of which week of September for the delivery? Early, mid, or last week of September?
*
There is no estimated timeline on when you will collect your M3P at the moment. I don't like to over promise my customers. On a bright side, we have started deliveries for June orders... so working backwards meaning middle or at least late September.

Any plan to open Tesla Experience in Johor Bahru soon? How about the expansion of Tesla Superchargers in JB too? The current one at Sunway Medini is a bit too far from JB City Center.
*
We already have a team down in Johor at Sunway Big Box. Its alittle far away from JBCC i know, but with more JB owners comes more Tesla Superchargers down south.

Thank you for the swift response. Let's hope for the middle of September  icon_idea.gif

Btw, the Tesla DA has advised me that it is perfectly normal that my Tesla App still shows that Finance Credit Decision Pending, even though I have got an email from Tesla that my Model 3 financing is approved. I'd just like to check with you to see whether you have the same thoughts. Thank you.

I have a little concern that I won't be able to get my VIN since the Tesla App still shows that Finance Credit Decision Pending.

Don't worry, the Tesla app is still not fully functional on the Finance and registration portion. Need manual input by the DA.

I would like to also place an order utilising the current 0% promotion. My question is, can I cancel the order if my car arrived after 30/9 ?
*
Our target is to deliver alot of EVs by end of Q3, those that have placed booking will be able to collect theirs before 30th September. Should you need any more clarification, do PM me.

Means nothing. Its better for them to just drop rrp prices like in Australia (we usually follow Australia pricing since the start of tesla here)
*
Well... Tesla actually did a price adjustment since April - with both Model 3 (RWD & Long Range) and Model Y (All variants) reduced the RRP to RM8,000 less. And now with the 0% or low interest, its a great promo.

Going to pick up my tesla tomorrow, but I wont floor it because I'm not familiar with the car, also driving high speed use more energy, need to charge often, not a good idea for battery life.
*
Congrats on your electrification journey. Trust me its a rewarding one, You'll be spending about 15 to 30 minutes calibrating the cameras so driving around Cyberjaya would be best. After that, there is no break-in period, just enjoy the ride.

Picked up my Model 3 RWD Quicksilver yesterday  rclxms.gif

The color isn't as what I expected. I expect it would be much more shiny but it actually kind of gives a little bit of matte feeling. The range also far below what's advertised - website says WLTP 519KM but the car estimated 400km++ only for 97% battery. Although I have expected this, I just thought it would be slightly higher as mine is 18" wheel, not the 19", should have better range.

Still getting used to the 1-pedal driving now, I find it dangerous at times as my foot get used to put on the drive pedal all the time but when I needed brake, I would accidentally hit on the drive pedal instead. Especially at parking boom gate, down slopes, etc. Also the regen braking feels kinda weird and a bit dizzy at first, I guess need a bit time for myself to "break-in".

All in all, nice car, nice ride and great audio. Beginning of my EV lifestyle, hope I won't get too much of the range anxiety  biggrin.gif
*
For regen breaking - the best advise i can give you is to feather the throttle. The throttle itself is very sensitive, so once you have finally caught the sweet spot for your braking and acceleration, going back to ICE driving style seems like a hassle. Its an extremely fun time for you, take more road trips and familiar yourself.

after driving for 2 weeks on my M3 RWD, now I am having problem to drive my wife's ICE CX5.... because I am so used to single pedal and regen braking, I felt very awkward using the brake pedal every single time before reaching the traffic lights/junctions.
*
And thats the truth, when i go back to my Nissan Almera... Its like riding a bike again - signal on the other side and all. The other thing is i keep forgetting to lock my ICE. tongue.gif

9 years 0% downpayment ohmy.gif...
*
All the promos you see requires 10% downpayment. For 0% interest, its only for RWD (Model 3 and Model Y), with 5 years loan from Public Bank. 7 years it will be 0.48%, and 9 years its 0.88%.

Want to know more, PM me.

Any Tesla owners can let me know if it is possible to collect their cars at the Pavillion Damansara showroom instead of cyberjaya?
*
No, as the Damansara Heights is only a showroom. Collection points are currently at Cyberjaya and Penang.

Hi all Tesla owners, would like to check a few things on Autopilot

1) what is the max speed we can set on AP ?

2) during my test drive and turn on AP, when I manually turn the streering to avoid motorbike, the AP auto cancelled and system release throttle at the same time which make the car start to regen & braking, is the car able to set AP on throttle only but no streering control?

3) lets say on highway, if we are on AP and I manually changed lane, the AP will be cancelled also is it true? Anyway to avoid this? Make the AP remain active after I manually changed lane

Thanks!
*
1) Max speed on Autopilot is 140km on both Auto-steer and traffic aware cruise control.
2) Yes, that is called Traffic Aware Cruise Control, you can change it on the autopilot settings on the menu.
3) Same as Q2, do note that you have to have your hands on the steering at all times with TACC.

Side note, always make sure that you are always aware of your surroundings, ensure both hands are on the steering at all times and your throttle foot in on the throttle.

Any recommendations on installers for the wall connector? I have been told that my car will be ready for delivery end of November. Your info is much appreciated.
*
You can search for available certified Tesla wall connector installers via the link below.

https://www.tesla.com/en_my/support/certified-installers

You can't go wrong with any of them, however i would advise using any third party installers as they might not be familiar with Tesla's settings as well as not having 1-year warranty that comes with those that are certified installers. Ultimately, the decision is your call.

It is complimentary until you click "delivered" on the Tesla App. That feature will be clicked automatically after 24 hours after delivery.

For the new EV plate anyone knows if we are to order and do the installation with Tesla? Or outside? I already register in the JPJ website
*
Tesla only does it for newly registered vehicles. For exisiting owners, once JPJ opens up the applications, you have to apply from JPJ and wait.
Application starts on 9th Nov (as per JPJ's timeline).

Can I check if this applies to all Tesla super charger or just the ones from the venue you collect the car?
*

As long as you do not click "delivered" on your Tesla app, Supercharging is free within the 24 hours period. It will be automatically clicked as "delivered" within 24 hours.

Boss what does the RM10k uplift meant? Means additional 10k discount on top of the trade in value?
*
QUOTE(gobiomani @ Nov 8 2024, 11:58 AM)
Hi bro, pm please. I assume the 10k uplift means over-trade? Meaning will get an additional RM10k on top of the estimated dealer value?
*
If you trade in your ICE car to Tesla, we will deduct 10K off the price of the vehicle (vehicle must be an inventory model - ready stock). This promo is stackable for the TCP and Refer & Earn. Meaning you can potentially save up to RM17,100 for a Model Y, or RM14,100 off a Model 3

how does it work bro? mind to elaborate more? i can trade in any ICE car, like 20 yo age car? how to get up to 40k discount with Model 3?  how many references i need to make? tongue.gif

I don't think that a 20 year old car will fetch and value that a used car dealer will accept. You are free to try (PM me to learn how).
