 Selling off gold, ...where to sell?

I have a 999 bracelet which I will never wear at all cos of the design and it's thick. I'm thinking to sell off. Should I sell at gold shop or pawn shop?

For me, I will keep it as investment. Gold price will up unless someone can find a way to produce gold

If you go Pajak Shop, you pawn your gold you can get 60% of weighted worth.
If you go Bank Rakyat, you pawn your gold you can get 80% of weighted worth.

Pawning gold is like taking a loan (60% or 80%) with your gold as collateral. You still own the gold and can buyback the gold if redeem by paying full amount. You need to renew the pawn paper(pay some amount) every 6 months though to continue owning it.

Selling price for Physical gold for investment and jewellery gold is different. Jewellery gold always lower compare to investment gold

Any gold shop will take it.

From what i experienced, usually the weight X current price and then deduct 15-25% as they wont be paying 100% for profit.

And people still say gold is good investment.

When buy jewelry type gold, you buy the gold, + workmanship.
When you sell, you only sell the gold.

Even if gold price increase, you already rugi.

Unless you are buying bullions, gold is not an investment.
