I'm not expert but most of the reading I've done, it is said stainless steel is safer than plastic.. but most people still use plastic and that I know of, are still well.. so I still use plastic also, BPA free ones only. guysmiley liked this post

Depends what's u r saying safe.
If u r asking whether the container is safe? Stainless steel also got grade, make sure get the grade for food use. How about storing water? Depends on your cleanliness of the container d, if u only put water, and sterilized with hot water and clean with soap. Make sure the edges is clean also. Then ur water can be kept long |

This design is shit. Plenty tumbler have stainless steel on the inside and they are easier to carry around and don't kemek. Plus can retain hot and cold drinks

Totally fine no?
I use a Yeti Rambler for my coffee and a Corkcicle glass tumbler for my water. Chipped the glass so will get a 30 oz Yeti for water |

QUOTE(katijar @ Aug 2 2023, 10:09 AM) As far as I know there is no classification on food grade SS. The 316 SS (also known as 18/10 stainless steel) is considered as food grade. The 304 SS (18/8) is considered food grade too. Others like 200 series like 201 SS is also FDA approved but not to be used for food storage because it is more corrosive than the 304. |
