to be honest the MP in GoW isnt very lively. You can find some player (around 10 hosts at live player match) but most of the player hosting from the other end of the world. However at golden hour you can find some aus/korean players but mostly the ping still sucky, due to GoW do not support dedicated server.

Oddly, you can still get your room full quite fast granted you have another player to do some 1v1 while waiting.

It seems like nobody like to host, and no dedicated server worsen the problem

So you probably heard of the Horde Gauntlet in Gears of War 2 where the new multiplayer mode pits a group of 4 against waves and waves of locusts swarm. Now PC gamers are in for a treat! The GoW community has made a series of horde maps! In one of those maps you can play as locust to kill waves of delta forces! XD. You can even get to choose to play as characters that arent playable in the original game. Long live GoW!

You can only see this guy in a cutscene where two of these hold a red shirt and Raam executes the red shirt. Now play as him and executes waves of Carmines yourself!

i still have little idea on how gfw live works, to me its just a messed up game mechanic. I only forced to use gfwlive when i play gears (or is it not? i wouldnt know) but i do posses others gfw games as well (cod5/lostplanet) and never use the gfwlive when playing them. Does it works like steam? heck my lost planet copy is in steam? :S

rofl fixed the problem by setting the date back to yesterday, just like the folks at epic forums said. There's an update, but didnt help at all.

This update fixes the digital signature mess up.
