car should always send for regular servicing. service people would check when parts or item need to change.

things like brake pad, tyre thread worn off are safety issue. save on servicing, spend more on repair much more costly later. not worth it.

just replace valve (yang bengkok), head gasket, top overhaul. new engine oil.

provided piston tak pecah lah.

I pernah putus my belt when entering a roundabout, luckily I still had momentum from the initial rev to coast to the opposite side and park. Just some cyl heads had to be repaired back from slight bengkok and my pomen managed to settle within the weekend.
