Pandan mukak..drive ploton

I kena a week after I changed timing belt and water pump. 4G93P.
A week later was driving to JB. On the highway the new belt snapped.
The workshop that changed timing belt agreed to send tow truck.
The thing that caused the new belt to break was that faulty new water pump.... The new pump jammed

Repair work and tow charges, all born by the workshop.

that is not consider as emergency issue so late is not accepted.

My sis myvi also timing belt broken...

I've timing belt broken before and only needed a top head overhaul as well as tuning. Granted the moment the timing belt broken the whole engine sounded different and lost power thus I quickly shutdown the engine and coasted to the road side (shifted to neutral - was manual gear then). Not too sure how that works with modern engines... in fact, does modern engines even HAVE timing belts?

Also when the accessories belt putus, the car will have no power steering, aircon and alternator hence no power. But the engine still runs from the battery. Once the battery kaput, the engine will die.

Timing chain will control both water and oil pumps so the engine will survive long enough to get it fix at the workshop.
