aren't jazeman's team disqualified for some reason?
irregularities or something...hence cost him the placing too?
read 'em in the paper sometimes ago but can't recall the exact date.

but he has had a good future. already tested the william F1 simulator
and he is barely 15.
hopefully his success won't get over his head.
*
yes, but sometimes irregularities doesnt necessarily equal to cheating.

yeah i hope that he will do great in the future.

i remembered reading there's two other chinese guys also rising up the ranks.

only a few of the current driver has had an experience with the car without TC. coulthard was kinda master of em'. followed by kimi raikkonen during his sauber stint, nick heidfield in his prost years and jenson button in his earlier williams,
hamilton, rosberg; with their GP2(GP2 cars doesn't use TC?) experiences, and perhaps some young drivers graduated direct from GP2 to F1 will benefit from this. with sheer talent, they'll be able to hang onto it although GP2 and F1 car are 2 very different beast.
this year we will see a slower lap times since the TC play a big part in cornering but faster straight line will make up for it.
an interesting 2008 season for F1.
*
I think that only the old guards (DC and Rubinho) has experience driving F1 cars without TC. When Kimi, Heidfield and button joined F1 most cars have already have TC systems employed.

so??  the article..
that mean F1 allow traction control back on mid season of 2001...  beginning of the season are still no Traction control...

2001 mid n before.. U mean Kimi, Nick, Janson not yet in F1??    smile.gif  smile.gif
*
read the bold part.

QUOTE
After a long period during which traction control was banned, the FIA decided to re-allow its use at the start of the 2001 season (as of the Spanish GP because the smaller teams requested a delay to get more time for developing their systems) as it was becoming increasingly difficult to prove that ECUs (Engine Control Units) were not being used to replicate traction control functions.

if that paragraph is right..  so.. the ECU for this year still can do the same thing... what is the different then??
*
You must remember that this year's championship use one single ECU for all teams. So FIA can effectively monitor the teams.
