'Kovalainen dropped because he was too fast'
Link ~ http://www.planetf1.com 'Fisico dropped because we was too I don't think Kovailanen is faster though...if againts Alonso in a McLaren But maybe he is when both of them were in a Renault. Double world champion like this ka? Double world champion should have this kind of attitude...the 'just bring it' attitude. QUOTE Hamilton, by contrast, is reported to be pressing McLaren to appoint Kovalainen as his team-mate next season rather than the undistinguished Pedro de la Rosa. Rather than be cautious of being paired with a fast team-mate, Hamilton evidently believes that such a challenge will bring out the best of his own talents - as Alonso found out to his cost last season. Woot...Nelsinho faster than Alonso in 2008 Fresh new headache for Alonso. We get to see new circus act by him in 2008 I have an idea for Alonso...which ever teams he drove, he'll be the sole driver in it Then no need to whine about any team mate faster than him etc. This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Dec 13 2007, 10:41 AM |

QUOTE However, it is confirmed that criminal actions underway in Italy and civil ones in England are still continuing. Link ~ http://en.f1-live.com FIA: McLaren planned to use Ferrari data Link ~ http://www.autosport.com QUOTE McLaren were poised to use systems on their 2008 car that had been inspired by secret Ferrari information given to them by Nigel Stepney, the FIA's technical report on the matter reveals. Interesting. We'll see how their car perform in 2008. Better than 2007 or not. QUOTE The FIA document also reveals that engineers within the team were aware of a Ferrari 'mole' passing information to them. One email exchange between engineers on April 13, 2007 discussing steering angles mentioned an exact figure for the Ferrari wheelbase. A response from a senior McLaren engineer was: "Is the Ferrari wheelbase an accurate figure? Did it come from photos or our mole?" The response was: "You will find it's to the nearest 'mm'." QUOTE McLaren have vowed to cease development work on the parts that could have been inspired by Ferrari knowledge, and the FIA stated on Thursday night that it was now willing to bring the matter to a close. QUOTE(karhoe @ Dec 15 2007, 12:24 AM) Haha, who knows, with Mclaren likely to be forced to remove alot of Ferrari's stuff, they might perform worse than Force India QUOTE(blah1134 @ Dec 15 2007, 12:31 AM) Depends on their roles next year:1.Both free to fight each other (lesson not learn lesson regarding 1st and 2nd driver like in 2007? 2.Heikki as Lewis's gunner. 3.Ron will favor Heikki since it's kind of a tradition for McLaren when it comes to Finnish driver; like Mika and Kimi. |

Heikki's pretty good too.
This season he finished all races except Brazil. Consistency there. Hope they're free to race each other. |

Dennis defiant amidst calls for resignation
Link ~ http://www.planetf1.com IMHO, he should take a year sabbatical if he did not wish to resign. Although resigning would be the best option Let a new guy manage McLaren. Hopefully fans would look at McLaren with a fresh perception. As far as McLaren is concern...their credibility in Formula One is damaged already. Anyways, it is true then what people say about Ron...he's truly a sore loser This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Dec 17 2007, 10:32 AM |

Ferrari should pay the copyshopman a few millions don't you think?
Or at least help him expand his business or shops. He did helped Ferrari won the constructors title Jazeman's team is following the McLaren way...the cheating way Saw him in an interview on ASTRO. Looks a bit arrogant but solid english though. Silver spoon kid. After all...he's 16 year old greenhorn. Fauzi seems nicer This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Dec 21 2007, 07:35 AM |

QUOTE(edison_84 @ Dec 21 2007, 11:09 AM) 2008 should be BMW, Ferrari, Mclaren and Renault, William probably. Can't wait for 2008 in....three(3) months Heikki also targeting 2008 title. Good. Can give Hamilton run for his money QUOTE(yngwie @ Dec 21 2007, 11:11 AM) aren't jazeman's team disqualified for some reason? They're appealing though.irregularities or something...hence cost him the placing too? read 'em in the paper sometimes ago but can't recall the exact date. but he has had a good future. already tested the william F1 simulator and he is barely 15. hopefully his success won't get over his head. CIMB Team Qi-Meritus Files Appeal Link ~ http://www.afos.com QUOTE CIMB Team Qi-Meritus has submitted the official appeal on the disqualification of their drivers in the final Formula BMW Asia race and their exclusion from the team championship. The Federation Automobile of Sport China (FASC) which is the Chinese ASN affiliated to the FIA, has confirmed that they have received the letter of appeal from the team dated 5th November 2007. The appeal hearing will take place within 30 days from the date of the letter and the ASN will notify all parties involved. Drivers Jazeman Jaafar and Jack Lemvard were disqualified from round 22 of the Formula BMW Asia held Sunday at Zhuhai International Circuit after their cars were found to be in breach of technical regulations. The disqualification resulted in Jaafar losing his championship title with just a one point deficit. The CIMB Team Qi-Meritus was also penalised and excluded from championship title due to the severity of the offence and in view of their previous infringement of the Technical Regulation on an earlier occasion. Something about the braking discs and engines, IIRC. It started back in JUly 2007 during the Sentul GP. We'll see. Even 22 year old Hamilton already 'besar kepala' On the podium, I bet he'll (Jazeman) take cover each time the champaign arrived This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Dec 21 2007, 11:32 AM |

QUOTE(smartly @ Dec 21 2007, 11:49 AM) Hell yeah QUOTE(maranello55 @ Dec 21 2007, 12:11 PM) I wouldnt say how the season will go before the season starts....too many factors are at play...instead of analysing the probabilities of the outcome, i would just lay back n relax and see wut happens when it finally starts. Its a circus anyway LOL. Quote of the day:Some cheated...some accused of being cheated when they dont...some were caught cheating, some got away with it. Some are at the limit of legallity which seems like cheating but it is totally legal. IMHO, cheating or not really depends on, most of the time, who u supporting and who u not. Thats y i stopped being biased and being a die hard fan coz it can really affect ur judgement of things..... I have to respect Dennis of his decision to stay despite calls for him to quit. It manifests his desire abt the sports and passion abt his job....despite after what he has faced last season. Some quit doing what they do at the first sign of trouble. Of course in Dennis too it depends on whos side u are too. But im not on anyones side. I always take the good in any situation. i know its boring for this thread coz its a gossip thread but hey....LOL QUOTE Thats y i stopped being biased and being a die hard fan coz it can really affect ur judgement of things..... Me too Just because my nick is "Raikkonen"...some assume I'm a die hard fanatic fan of him They thought they can get to me when they called him 'red tank', alcohol pissing etc. I just....laugh Some of us are just tooo Couldn't take a joke and have a little fun...lalalalala...
