 [Shopee] - J&T f*cked up, I get FREE item & REFUND, ...system says item lost, but i got it.

So...
A strange thing happened...

On 12th June I placed an order for a RM1k item...
Shopee tracking says - J&T is handling the item...

Expected delivery date was on 17th of June...

However... since 14th of June... item still stuck NOT MOVING AT ALL at J&T JTI FREIGHT 999 (item bound for Sabah)...

On 17th June - item still stuck there... no update at all.. Shopee system says give chance another 4 days, promised it will arrive...

4 days gone... its 23rd already... suddenly shopee system says - "Item reported to be LOST" and shopee says it will proceed to refund...

LO AND BEHOLD...

Item suddenly arrived on 25th... but system says already Lost...
Also... I got the refund back to my Credit Card...

So now... I got both the item... AND the refund...

So:

1. What do I do now? Shopee havent called me about it, I dont see any mechanism to settle this.
2. Will the seller be compensated for this?
3. Should I just leave it be and say PADAN MUKAK SHOPEE & J&T for lousy service? brows.gif

Shopee need to create mechanism for 'honest' buyers to pay them back... such error SHOULD NOT have happened...

first they make customer angry by very slow delivery... then announced item lost.. all of the sudden item arrives... both seller and buyer are not at fault for this lousiness...

maybe... I will be kind enough to return the refund... lets see if they care enough to contact the customer/buyer first...

Seller can also be compensated for items lost by courier... why u transfer directly to seller? he will enjoice if he gets compensated by shopee.

the one put on top type. Cost RM280+ for that docking station. Im going to use it in office to replace my x230 thinkpad (nothing wrong with the x230 - im just going to use it as presentation laptop)

me thinking the same now... unless shopee makes the effort to rectify their own shit problem and call me about it - I will probably enjoy BOTH the refund AND the laptop.
